      We've tried a thicker pad and its just not enough pressure. You may not notice this right away but once you wash the garment, you can tell the transfer is not completely flattened and will prematurely wrinkle.

      There's no reason I wouldn't want to promote this press but it doesn't create long lasting tees.. Working with DTF doesn't mean it just applies and comes off your film, it has to last through the wash test many times. I just haven't seen that done with these automatic presses. You get premature wrinkles

    • @theteainteaching
      @theteainteaching 2 місяці тому +1

      @@transfersuperstars Agreed. I had a MAJOR problem once I switched to the HTVront and had to replace a lot of shirts because they cracked or wrinkled after one wash. I'm not returning it so I'm likely going to use it to get the moisture out of the shirts and then press with my regular heat press. It's next to my primary heat press so it'll be like an assembly line for two people to work, which will help me save a lot of time.

      Yes you can compensate for the heat by increasing the temperature however the main thing this press lack is the ability to adjust the pressure. Once you wash a 100% cotton tee, it will shrink. If you did not use enough pressure, the dtf transfer will prematurely wrinkle.

    Hi! Im using HTVRONT since 2 months, it works vry well, but 1st hing to do is to get rid of stock "pillow". It's really bad quality, it had wrinkles after only like 50x usage. Replace it with some silicone pillow or else. I found also very usefull to buy differnt sizes soft vinyl pillow. By that i can have more pressure in the place i want (when applying small print etc.). The truth is that more pressure or adjustable would be usefull. Im pressing DTF twice in order to press the print into material even more.

      The transfer usually transfers fine onto the garment but the wash results is usually when we see shrinkage and premature wrinkling. Have you checked your washed garments recently?

      How is the print coming out after washing? I just did my first press and washed my tote and the DTF has wrinkles :(

      @@TheRagdollKitty You have to experiment with temperatures. I did like 20 same prints on material, washed them several times and turned out that I have to use higher temperature then my printer of dtfs is suggesting. I'm currently using 160°C. First press 12 sec, second press after peel 8 sec. I think it depends on dtf powder, foil, printer used etc also

      So you took your pad off what pads are you using? Because I just recently bought a silicone replacement pad I listed it above because I know some other people who have one and they were also having trouble with the pressure for the HTF puff and DTF so that’s exactly what they did and said that it helped them but I am definitely open to more suggestions because you don’t want 50 heatpress machines for each different type of craft you are doing

      If using DTF, it doesn't provide enough pressure for fabrics.

    This guy is typical of his generation. If the product can’t do everything for you than it’s no good because he has no sense of reasoning, evaluating the situation and coming up with a remedy! This heat press works awesome. This guy has no mechanical skills! Snowflake!!

      We're open for discussion and have tested this several times, We print and sell transfers, we would love to promote it but it doesn't quite work well for DTF. Please checkout all DTF forums and reviews regarding this product. This heat press lacks the ability to control pressure. If you do not have enough pressure, you will get premature wrinkles after the wash. Please checkout your own awesome work after its been in the wash. I would NOT recommend this to our customer. BTW, What kind of mechanical skills is needed to make this applicable to DTF? ua-cam.com/video/oyj0As0Bz6Q/v-deo.html

      I don’t think that’s true he’s just trying to give an honest opinion and evaluation on the HTV Ront he gave likes and dislikes on all of the heat presses he has tested out people depend on these reviews from someone who does this for a living knows what they’re talking about and will give and honest opinion on what he actually uses it for which would be DTF now I bought mine a long time ago during the fundraising phase so I have had mine quite a while it works great for HTV which is what HTV Ront sells but it has a problem with HTV that needs stronger pressure like Puff vinyl, DTF, Brick 600, Rhinestone Transfers etc.. Im sure that there’s others I probably forgot to list but he definitely gave a fair honest review now if it was great in all things then he would have said so because he has alot of people who want to buy this product so I am glad he gave a honest review because I probably wouldn’t have bought it had i known that I would need to purchase another press just to do these other types of materials because I really wanted an all in one but I haven’t found one that’s not ridiculously priced

    A very thorough review. Thank you for that. -------I have this press, and I'm a little underwhelmed with it, But I have a question. You have it set at 7 seconds. What would happen if you increase the time, say to 20 seconds. Would that help with the adhesion or damage it? Also, I wonder if you could get inside and crank up the pressure.

      I also have the same heat press I use dtf transfers and they turn out great, away around the pressure is to put another heat press mat on top of the original one already on there… I wouldn’t recommend taking it apart but that might also work?

    • @transfersuperstars
      @transfersuperstars  11 місяців тому +1

      The increased pressed time will not make a difference in the outcome if the heat press doesn't have enough pressure. Once you wash the garment, you will see some shrinkage in the transfer from the garment shrinking. This wouldn't be an issue if the press had enough pressure. There's currently no way to increase the pressure on this machine.

      We've tried layering on an extra silicone mat but it did not help with pressure. It looks great at first press but we see premature wrinkling after the wash. We haven't found a way to increase the pressure.
