FINALLYYYYYYY! I have finally caught up… sure it took me 5 days of only watching Rick, but I did it. Lol realized I was 3 months behind and couldn't have that, but I guess that's what happens when you have your 1st kid lol. Great video as usual.
That is a pretty scary challenge... Rick: I'm buying all NES games I don't already own regardless of price (Walks into store) Rick: Got any NES games? Owner: Yup, Little Samson Rick: Well damn
I know a guy who does that all the time with OG Xbox games. He's going for a full set and money isn't an issue. He already has most of it, but he still needs a few heavy hitters.
If you put a bit of isopropyl alcohol on that label it'll dissolve the adhesive and you'll be able to take it off quite easy. Not sure about the hair dryer method but IPA is very easy and will leave no residue.
Did some garage sales hunting on the weekend and got a haul of Nintendo games for $40 bucks. NES Mega Man 3,4,5 ,Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, DuckTales, Terminator 2, Double Dragon 3, Paperboy 2, Blades of Steel, Baseball Stars, Rolling Thunder, Famicom NES converter and a 63 in 1 game. SNES Super Mario World, NHLPA 93, NHL 94
I collect Nes games and I was happy to see this episode. The only games I saw that I'm missing is the Adventures of Lolo 2 &3. Thank you Rick for sharing.
At 6:39 - I owned that EXACT baseball game. Would play with it when my dad took us on his business trips on long rides. It was so fun and for its time felt like a real baseball game. I think I'd play for 8 or 9 hours while riding. Made the time go by so quick. Great memories.
oh man - I wish I could have a no budget challenge with NES games - but I pretty much have all the games except a handful of heavy hitters. Also every store here is pretty much bone dry. That's why I watch your channel, man - living vicariously through you!
I think a fun way to do this challenge in the future is to maybe spin a wheel with a bunch of consoles on it and see what you land on, and that's the console you have to do! All though keeping it retro would be smart, because if you spun the wheel and landed on Wii, you'd be buying a lot of shovelware (but I'm sure the stores wouldn't mind that haha). Definitely liked the challenge idea, and maybe PS1, genesis, SNES, or something like that in the future would be cool!
love being on the jouney with your channel i cant believe how big and great its got well i can tbh as the content is top notch entertainment both your channel and tendo are what makes my youtube complete thanks to u guys u deserve all u seek congrats again
No budget shopping spree challenge? Not much of a challenge. 😆 Only challenge is finding the exact things you want. Ok I want that job. Happy for you and look forward to new adventures for you and the channel.
Retro Rick coming with the 🔥🔥🔥 content once again. Man, there is something about NES games. Love them. I enjoyed this challenge. I think Lucas Barton has mastered all those games that your purchased. Great purchases and always loving the content. Keep up the great work.
Another really incredible video thanks for making it. @Retro Rick I am a member of your patron and discord .Was hoping there would be some of the empty Nintendo 64 boxes for sale.
I got that GI Joe game recently for free actually lol! I'm not a HUGE NES collector but man it's too hard to sell that lol! I gotta keep it for a little! Great video, as always!
the berenstain too much TV and the In the dark are the ones I read over and over as a kid. Idk why but I loved the too much TV one so much. And the In the dark one I though the cover was the coolest thing as a kid. I have no idea why.
I just finished the licensed NES set (677 games) minus Stadium Events. That gives me the N64 set complete and licensed NES set complete (minus SE). I'm now going to move to SNES... I'm about 220 from the SNES licensed set and I have ALL the licensed rare games already which is a good thing.
Nice to see you are a fan of Clash at Demonhead! The game is super nostalgic for me too, one of my first games. It was probably the second game I ever played actually. I didn't understand much of what was going on back then being so young, but I loved the anime style and gameplay!
I have a budget, but I did buy metal storm, wampum and powerblade at a store a few months back. Decent prices and I never see games like those, sonic I got them. I left them for a week and went back after thinking about them though.
Game store employee (GSE) & Retro Rick (RR) (GSE): welcome in! Can I help you find anything in particular? (RR): just looking around. Thanks. (GSE): alright. If you have any questions let me know. (RR): I would like to buy all of your [insert system games here] today! (GSE): oh, wow. Okay. Here they are. Is it alright if I ask a question. What's the special occasion?. (RR) . Oh you know it's a wensday and thought I would lighten up the ol' wallet.
Please do this again! Go through each system! I’m a huge PlayStation guy so try PlayStation1 next. I really like this video. Try coming up to West Virginia sometime, we have some pretty unique video game stores here!
I started off doing vintage clothes now I collect and flip mainly video games. Retro is short for reproduction so in vintage clothes retro means a throw back or a fake. But in gaming retro means vintage. Strange huh.
I would of waited rick. There is probley more stuff too sort through from your epic storage pick up. Will there be a part 4?? I hope so they were alot of empty cases and loose disks to match up.
You got some great titles for the collection. I haven't seen gi Joe in the wild before. I vaguely remember it being sold in stores. Great job with the vid Rick 👊🎃
Rick I'm going to need you to somehow start posting videos every day man lol!!! I kid, I know you're super busy with a family and a job like myself but I catch myself binge watching your videos and you Live on a couple hours from me which is pretty cool!
Retro have you ever played dusty diamond softball ? I love that game it was one of the first games I bought when I rediscovered my love for the nes.Fun video keep it up!!!
I had Battle Chess for PC, same graphic on the front, but the graphics in the game seem different in my memory than the ones you put on screen. It was a fun chess game.
Nice video!! Love GI Joe for NES. One of my favorites...followed very closely by Jackie Chan Action Kung Fu for the NES. When will we see another episode of the $10 game collection?
Here's a tough one for you go for game gear games next challenge I think you'll probably manage to find a few titles Too tough you can always go Gameboy
I recognized the Game Exchanges from West Little Rock and the one on University in Little Rock as well next to UALR. :) Would be neat to run into you one day up there.
Re: Majic Mike II. This is basically a souped-up version of an action figure; it has multiple audio recordings with voice acting and sound effects. Unfortunately, the playback rate of the audio - this can change depending on how much battery power you have. A number of electronic games of the 1980s ... these had the same problems, such as the electronic version of Coleco Baseball. Re: Mr. T Coloring Book. This guy has had some odd merchandise tie-ins throughout the 1980s, but through it all, I don't anything bad to say about him. Re: California Raisins. These guys were everywhere! Cartoons, video games ... the list goes on. They weren't really huge conversation pieces, though. Re: Voltron thermos. I envy you on this find! There were two separate series duking it out against each other for a while, but the Lion force ultimately won the battle. Re: Pac-man thermos. Pac-man was a huge thing back in the first half of the 1980s. There were wind-up toys, board games, cereals, pop songs, *underwear* ... the list goes on. The biggest success stories were the computer/console arcade ports and the animated TV series. Re: Battle Chess. The NES port of this game ... it remains one of the best. It is missing some of the features of the IBM PC (MS-DOS) version, but it also isn't plagued with the speed issues the MS-DOS release has. The main problem with the MS-DOS version is that the playbaack rate of the sound is different on almost every single computer. There's no way to know exactly what playback rate is correct.
Still hoping to stumble across a copy of G.I. Joe for nes at a yard sale or thrift store, I really want the game but can’t justify paying what it currently sells for 😬
and now you own game point !! love the channel Rick
Strawberry shortcake, Voltron and The Berenstain Bears, nostalgia overload! 🤩
FINALLYYYYYYY!
I have finally caught up… sure it took me 5 days of only watching Rick, but I did it. Lol realized I was 3 months behind and couldn't have that, but I guess that's what happens when you have your 1st kid lol. Great video as usual.
I don't know what it is, but I love seeing how you organize the collection!
Hi Seth I just finished watching your latest video about cleaning sneaker, keep it up 👍
I hate it.
@@PhoenixResale lololol
Seeing prices like that makes me glad we have emulation
Seeing you as a customer at your own store is funny.
that magic mike robot you passed up blows smoke out of its face.
5:36 I think we had that robot when I was a kid but gold color maybe, hard to remember it was so long ago.
That is a pretty scary challenge...
Rick: I'm buying all NES games I don't already own regardless of price
(Walks into store)
Rick: Got any NES games?
Owner: Yup, Little Samson
Rick: Well damn
5:37 "Not the Magic Mike we all know and love, right?"
*(women giggling in the background)*
Just whispering the name subconsciously triggers them lol.
Def like this video. I’d love to see Nes and also Sega Master System. It’s hard to find any master system games usually.
I know a guy who does that all the time with OG Xbox games. He's going for a full set and money isn't an issue. He already has most of it, but he still needs a few heavy hitters.

Casino Kid is fun!! Kind of like a RPG casino game. Try it out!!
He owns this place now
I collect Nes games and I was happy to see this episode. The only games I saw that I'm missing is the Adventures of Lolo 2 &3. Thank you Rick for sharing.
This channel is so refreshing in today's world.
Baseball Stars is the best baseball game ever! Great pick up.
That was fun to watch! It's cool to have the elements of danger in the challenge!
Those fortune teller things are probably those fish you put on your hand and however it curls 'tells you' something!
At 6:39 - I owned that EXACT baseball game. Would play with it when my dad took us on his business trips on long rides. It was so fun and for its time felt like a real baseball game. I think I'd play for 8 or 9 hours while riding. Made the time go by so quick. Great memories.

Ha it’s been pretty dry here too! How many games do you have in your nes collection?
@@retrorick I am at 152 with the rarest being Bubble Bobble Part 2 and Ducktales 2.
I know that's not all of them - but I believe I have almost every must have outside of those expensive Taito games.
So excited hopefully he gets something really rad
we do...spoiler!
@@retrorick love the vids

You better get something FOR YOUR SON!
He was looking at that "The Clash At Demonhead" like: "Hello again, friend of a friend. I knew you when..."
Blaster Master always freaked me out as a kid.. the intro with the frog was so weird!

I have Pulsonic Baseball II handheld. It was my brothers it was just red dots but surprisingly fun lol.
Look out for model railroad stuff when at flea markets and garage sales. There is a pretty large market for that stuff.
That Alf a steal he’s like on 170 on eBay
Great video Rick! Sorry about what happened at retro palooza those poor ET glasses hahaha! Great to meet you!
It’d be awesome to see this challenge again but for Sega Genesis!
Retro Rick my man!
Cool/different video! I'd love to see this type of thing for the SEGA Genesis.

Great concept but would of liked to of seen of list of the games you have and a list of games which you still need to complete the collection

Great video. Maybe do gameboy, color, or advance. I would say gamecube but it is slim pickings in most areas.
That jungle book for nes was a rad find man! I recently picked up godzilla for nes at a bookmans
Thanks for the great content, Rick!
