Hello beautiful ones! I hope you had a wonderful weekend 💖 Tomorrow's video is here for you now, just in case! We have storms over here in the UK and our power has been on and off for the last few days. So if we are without internet again soon, I didn't want to wait to release this. I love you all and I hope you're doing well. Please enjoy, sorting buttons into colours! 😊 Sweet dreams always, Emma 🕊🙏🏼
Hi Emma, seen your wonderful locks on Instagram, you are so lucky, mine was like that as a child, now its much thinner, but it's getting thicker and I'm getting less grey, I believe its down to a new supplement I started taking 3 months ago. #TeamEmma
Aren't the storms absolutely crazy?! I have a wind phobia ha, so im hating it a lot! Im right down south and right now seems to have all stopped, hopefully that stays! Thanks for this video Emma, it is a much needed distraction! 💗
Love the buttons. As a crafter/maker/artisan I reckon there are so many missed opportunities for ASMR in that space. Knitting needles (metal, plastic, bamboo), the pock of an embroidery needle into tightly framed fabric, the sound of the thread being pulled through the fabric. The fripfripfrip sound of crochet/knitting being 'frogged', the whisper of sharp shears through fabric, the crinkle of paper patterns, the rattle of pins in a container....
YEEEESSSSSS. Fabric cutting. I love that sound. Have you checked out Semidecoco ASMR channel? She does "scalp checks" with wooden knitting needles and it's pretty dreamy.
I feel like it could get tricky with the needle through embroidery hooped fabric, just because if the mics are too sensitive, then it'll sound too loud and percussive. Like there's an old video of Maria tapping wooden things, and she has these thin pieces of wood but when she tapes toward the mic, I hear more of that burst of disturbed air than the pleasant tapping (I don't know how to explain it better)! All that said, someone with the right mics could make a DREAM of a video out of that sound. I would easily become mesmerized by it!
@@eddums19 Sweden, and not even far north lmao. Its like over a metre (like 3 feet?) of snow up here, but I'm from the UK and snow scares me 😅 Everything ends up so goddamn slippery!!!
@@brightbubbly8251 You'd think, but I have a goddamn fear of going outside, it isn't mega cold so the snow melts juuuuuust enough to become an ice rink, so it ends up so crazy slippery that its straight up dangerous 😅 I'd rather be melting, even in a sticky monsoon, and NOT slip and break a bone, even when I cannot survive more than 27°C with my Scottish blood
Emma I found your videos when I was 15 years old struggling with GCSE nerves, I’m 22 now and have my driving test this week, still using your videos to calm my nerves ❤️ thank you x
The day that I discovered that not only was there a name for this phenomenon, and that other people had it too, and that some of them made videos to help us feel it, was an amazing day for me. First video was colored pencil sorting and this one has the same vibe, love it! Asmr has so helped me handle the stresses in my life. Thank you Emma, you and your work/art is so appreciated!
oh emma - this immediately brought me back to seeing my mam take out her button stash from her sewing box, and trying to help me learn maths with them at 4 ❤️ so soothing. i don't know if she still has those buttons, some of them were really cool :D
I can't believe I almost forgot, but this was actually one of my first ASMR triggers I discovered as a child! My grandma had this jar filled with buttons, so my brother and I would sometimes empty it and just rummage through them before sorting them by color, shape etc. I think she still has that exact same jar too! Thank you for reminding me of those beautiful and nostalgic memories, Emma 💗
Emma, you just have the best whisper, the best tapping, and most importantly, the best pacing of all asmrtists! Thank you for sharing this masterpiece a day early 😍
I liked the pile of orange and green buttons....It made me smile and think "Peas and carrots"...a sweet and happy moment for me🤗 You are such a lovely soul. Thank you, Miss Emma. Much peace and love to you...🙏🤗❤️🇺🇸
Howdy Ms Emma, thank you for still thinking about us and wanting to give us some asmr love even tho a crazy storm is in your area 😊🙏🏽💖 I'll keep you and the family in my prayers that you be safe. The sounds of you middling with the buttons was super pleasing to the ear. Which i wouldn't expect it to at first but you have such a graceful way of doing things. I love the blue ones the most. Also i watched the ads to help you revenue wise. Anyways wishing you a lovely safe week my caring friend!
a few months ago I bought VERY similar ones - if not even the same- and I loved making art with them or craft bracelets for my friends during quarantine. this brings back good memories of last year, thank you emma💗 good night everyone, sleep tight
I found your videos as a pregnant insomniac 6 and a half years ago. At this point, you’ve soothed me through another pregnancy, and back to sleep after so many nighttime feedings and little boy bad dreams. I can only hope that I get to enjoy your soothing voice through many other milestones in life. You are a family member to so many.
Hi Emma! Thank you for sharing with us the soothing sounds of your voice and colorful buttons a day sooner. I only started the video and my oh my. The crisp clicky clacky has me mesmerized!! It has a very polished sound. They look like pieces of candy.🍬🌈🍬 I send well wishes to you and your family. Be careful and stay safe.💜💜

Just wanted to say that my cat liked watching this video. He usually likes all the videos you make but, this one he really loved. Thought you'd find it sweet to know that even cats like your asmr. Hope you're doing well 💗
Oh my goodness the little interlude is everything! ❤️thank you so much for all your hard work 💕 it never goes unnoticed- perhaps unsaid, but never unappreciated 🥰
Wonderful video, Emma. I’m several hours late watching this, but man was it worth the wait. I personally love the sound of sorting buttons (it reminds me of hanging out with my grandmother in her sewing room when I was younger) so I was super excited to see this video in my subscription feed earlier today, and it did not disappoint. Everything sounded wonderful in this. I especially enjoyed the button, glass jar and gentle fabric sounds in this, so thank you for including all of those. Lovely video as always. Hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy. Keep up the great work.
This is the greatest video ever! I'm not a lunatic! When I get really really stressed, I go get my big jar of buttons and sort them into size, colour, sometimes weight. It helps with keeping my mind from thinking and I feel well pleased with myself after. Loved this, Emma. Sl tingly too. Thank you ❤❤
💜 Hello my lovely sweet Emma 💜 as always, I hope you’re doing well. I’m enjoying the sounds of the buttons, never thought they’d be this relaxing, lol. We’ve got snow coming for tonight and and tomorrow we could get around 6 inches with this storm. We had one mild day yesterday and today it’s back to well below freezing cold weather again. I can’t wait for spring to come. Thank you so much for another lovely video Emma. Lots and lots of love from me. 💜😘❤️😘💜
With everything going on at the moment I have barely been able to sleep and eat properly and have had awful waves of anxiety, but this is the only thing that’s managed to somewhat calm me this evening. It’s such a relief even if it’s just for an hour or so. Thank you Emma, so much. This video is heaven to me. Hope you are well. ❤️❤️

This is me as a child, sorting buttons and sifting through the button biscuit tin. Though I definitely always wanted to bite them! I like this crafty type video! You could sort knitting needles, or do some running stitch in and out of taut fabric? The sounds of that are wonderful! I hope you're safe in the wind, our fences have blown down and our windows are whistling but we're safe inside under blankets in the evenings. My partner messages every day to say he's made it safely to work in his clinic (NHS podiatrist), which is always a relief. I loved the little interlude section, like a tingly transition! I find when the same sounds happen for too long I get tingle immunity so switching it up with a transition like that quickly adds so much to the experience Edit: the chopstick with the buttons gave me chills! Such a good sound

First of all I have ME/CFS ( hello you fellow ones who see this 🦋) so sound is very imporant to me to be relaxing. 🥺 Some sounds like paper or a matchbox with a drawer is aawful and burn my ears. But you are truly a genius. This is why you are one of my absolutely favorite content creator (especially for sleep and it’s like all made with love for this art), whilst ASMR have gotten louder and faster since i started watching (and also shorter and I’ll have to make a little list with things things I won’t wake up from) due to people liking things as entertainment, or fast, short, trigger from trigger and less whispering. I respect you so dearly for not changing up things to a channel with videos i cannot sleep to anymore like many have, and with people getting more subs they can do pretty much what they want themselves and get sloppy with loud sounds at the end ex, which make me think of labeling ASMR titles for sleep or for relaxation or just whatever but ex quiet trigger/triggers for sleep. I like the fact that you set up things yourself, and make ASMR for us who use longer time to unwind, relax and sleep. This is both a genius video for everyone enjoying a classic trigger video to make them tired or relaxed and something to fall asleep to and not wake up. If I’m sleeping to ASMR now I make sure to watch it before so I know there is no awful sounds or loud noises, or if things are consistant. And this is like a visual classic but ASMR sleep video 💜🥺 Before everyone was trying to be as quiet as possible and I really enjoyed it. So the ones I slept to before I usually just watch now, and some edit out a little super soft thump that no one can hear but the ASMRtist but make more entertaining videos. So I went over to sleeping to this kind or the healing centre video (or gentle whispering’s similar videos), and "sleep music with hz for REM sleep blah blah" but ended up getting insomnia from the hz’s, so now it’s either this or consistant noice like white noice from a cabin in a plane, since I have fans/air cleansers on inside who are totally quiet and consistant I don’t wake up when my airpods fall out or the battery dies. 😅 Thank you for making so much good content 🦋 And keep up the ideas 💗 (I rarely get tingles, and I think that may be because the medicine i’m on, but it’s the perfect Art of Relaxation and Sleep to me, and safety, you make me feel like I have a mom!) 🥺
Who else thinks Emma should do a back scratching video again soon? Those are my favorite. It reminds me of when my mom used to tickle my back to help me fall asleep :)
Immediately soothed by your nails on that glass button jar. Reminds me of my grandma's jar of black jelly beans ❤ she passed recently at the age of 98.

I totally agree! I’m a needle crafter and there is such a great genre of Craft ASMR waiting to happen.
I feel like it could get tricky with the needle through embroidery hooped fabric, just because if the mics are too sensitive, then it'll sound too loud and percussive.
