Nokia is like "raddi me becha gold" HMD;s corporate management are treating it as raddi (like launching irrelevant Nokia phones) but it still has huge brand value among masses, If Nokia brings good features in 20k to 50k budget, it can easily destroy OnePlus, mid budget Samsung phones easily..
Nokia really deserves a dedicated comeback like Motorola

I had Nokia 7 Plus. Let alone phones, it was the most well build gadget I have ever used and I still can’t find anything that matches it’s solidity and build quality. It felt as if it was just a small, well rounded metal slab covered in ceramic with a screen. Surprisingly, it wasn’t that heavy.
The camera was decent but unfortunately, the performance was not the best for the price and the SOC it had.

Hmd will manufacture HMD phones as well as Nokia phones too. May be stock android will be used only in Nokia phones whereas HMD phones will use custom rom as HMD is going for multibrand strategy.

As a geeky guy, my priority was a clean Android and that's why when I upgraded from my Galaxy J6 , I chose Nokia 7.1 as my daily driver .
But when I checked their pricing... The specs didn't justified the price of the product.
So I changed my decision and bought a second hand pixel 3 as it offers clean Android with some exclusive features...

But to me, Nokia phone still a last long phone to use, so it is reasonable if the price quite expensive than Chinese branded phone such Xiaomi, Realme, Huawei, Vivo and many others. I owned Nokia 3.1 plus, I use it from late 2018 since it released, an still works until now, even tho I already buy another Nokia, it is Nokia X20, but the 3.1 plus still works as secondary phone. It almost 6th years. It is android 10 that probably still so much time before end of support, maybe another 5 to 10 years. compare to Chinese phone released in same year with 3.1 plus, most of them maybe in dumpster today, or on technician table.. Another things I like from Nokia smartphone, they are bloatware free. Not like other Chinese branded phone that full of annoying bloatware. I hate bloatware.

I don't know why hmd is doing this for a long time. when they first did comeback with nokia brand name they were launching good phoes at reasonable price like nokia 6.1+ , 5.1+ . But god knows what happened then, they stopped launching good phones which can justify their price. And last few years they have gone completely insane like launching a phone with a basic processor at double to triple price of the other brand.
