I LOVE Tae's vocals, his acting, and the MV creativity. Everything was outstanding. I really hope he pursues more acting projects when he is discharged from MS. The lyrics are clear cut about wanting to advance a longtime friendship to becoming a romantic relationship. However, the MV has so many possible interpretations. It could be about loving yourself first and not depend on a relationship or someone else to give you personal value. It could also represent how too many fans don't want idols to have a romantic life. So when the idol openly dates it ends up with backlash and those fans throwing the idol under the bus. When he's alone everyone else is happy but when he's with the girlfriend everyone else is angry/fighting. Either way if you notice the bystanders in the car scene don't pay his dire condition any attention, they are too caught up in their own wants. Perhaps we will get a making of video and Tae shares what his vision for the MV was. I'd love to hear his thoughts.
I love his precious smile at the end. I like this original, unique and creative MV, I love the song and the amazing voice of Taehyung his deep voice and his high notes. People say that the 7 members were destined to meet each other. The "you and I go back to like '09 it's like forever' line doesn't exactly apply to the BTS members who hadn't met each other yet but in 2009 there was a bus in Daegu that both Tae and Yoongi got on ( I think it's the 724) out of the 50 million or so people in Korea they may have been sharing a bus. That line might work better for someone else that Tae knows from that time or '09 could mean something else but the buses made me think of that.😊
