You kept saying you didn’t have any game knowledge but seemed to be doing fine to me. I think it’s emulating a Nintendo Controller and an Xbox controller like mixed together. Some of the older ones look like that one. Gameboy was essentially correct cause Nintendo made them.

Funny fact, the TARDIS prop in the show is made of wood but the real police boxes were concrete, which would be a little hard to move around
