Toy Story Mania! Xbox360 Animals and Friends Level

So excited to get this after release day!
First time playthrough, meant to record how much I will be progressing through the game. Also shows how game play is. Played this on the controller, but can be played on the Kinect.

Yes, you can hold down the shoot button and it will autofire as you see it in the video. In Kinect mode, it fires automatically. To avoid pies, you use the right analogue stick. In kinect mode, you have to lean right or left or down to avoid the pies.

Can you just hold down the shoot button or do you have to keep pushing it? Can you shoot with the connect or just move out of the way of the pies?
