That will have nothing to do with it. Derrick James isn’t in the ring, and Ryan is not a technical fighter at all. So he doesn’t have the high skill level or boxing IQ to take advantage of any of Errol’s mistakes. Crawford could do it, but Ryan is a thousand levels below Crawford.

Ngl ryan would be a little harder than Errol thinks. Errol has a few defensive flaws like the tell when he loads up that left.
Ryan relies mainly on his left hook. That isn’t typically an effective punch against southpaws…the straight right is the punch to use. Plus Errol will fight him in the clinch where Ryan isn’t very effective. Errol takes him apart…he’s all wrong for Ryan.
