But the real highlight of our journey lies in the Changthang Plateau, a high-altitude desert region that becomes a frozen paradise during the winter months. We'll journey to the remote village of Hanle, home to India's highest observatory, and capture breathtaking footage of the snow-capped peaks and mesmerizing night skies enroute we see 2 semi frozen lakes of Chilling Tso & Ruyl Tso and the geological wonderland of Nidar.
As we venture deeper into the Rupshu Plains, the landscape will continue to captivate us, with frozen lakes of Tso Moriri & KyagarTso, snow-covered roads of Thit Zarbola & Kiagar La mountain passes, old villages of Nyoma & Mahe and ancient fortresses dotting the horizon. We'll have the opportunity to soak in the rejuvenating hot springs of Puga and Chumathang, and discover the rich cultural heritage of the region through visits to centuries-old monasteries.

Is it safe to travel in mid october to leh ladakh with family. I am planning to visit there

With flight its OK with road also should be OK but do check the status of Leh Manali Highway (if plan of using that route). It is safe and most things are open till Oct end in Ladakh though stay options might be limited at certain places. Apart from that you can enjoy with lesser crowds 👍
