Fun fact about The Bayterek monument, its symbolizes the world tree of the same name from Tengrian mythology (the pagan religion of the nomads of Kazakhstan, which was practiced for a long time even after the arrival of Islam in the Kazakh Khanate). The legend of the Bayterek tree is very similar to the Scandinavian legend of the Yggdrasil tree, since according to legend, the world is kept on this tree. Also, according to legend, it is located somewhere in the Altai Mountains
The architecture is super interesting! Something we’ve never seen anywhere before. We really like KZ. The context of crazy is crazy good not meaning crazy in a negative way but appreciate your perspective
Heading to Astana tomorrow then to work in Karaganda for a few days. Haven’t been to Kazakhstan since 2013 when I spent a few months working up north in Rudnyy. Great videos, have really enjoyed seeing your perspective and experiences.
As friend of mine once said " - Where should we go in Astana? - As the usual scheme - What scheme? - Firstly, let's go to khanshatyr - And then? - And then to Kerouene - So, after Kerouen? - and then to Мegа mall - And where do we go after mega? - Well, then to khanshatyr "
Do you know that nearly all modern buildings in Astana were designed by English designer Foster. Sorry don't know his first name. Kazakhstani currency Tenge was also designed and pressed in England !!! That's why we are greatful for your help and support ,thousands of students have been studying in Great Britain. So God bless the United Kingdom.🙏🇬🇧🇰🇿🇺🇸🇺🇦🇪🇺
Good question! We have also seen quite a lot of vlogs showing up - for us it made sense to visit after our Pakistan trip as its quite close and somewhere we always wanted to visit 😄
Presidential palace is the present from Italy. The Al-Farabi mosque is present from Qatar. Parliament buildings are present from Saudi Arabia. Astana governor building is the present from Kuwait.
Ah yes, it was because we had just left Pakistan after being there 2 months and arrived to Kazakhstan so it was still fresh in our minds but of course they are very different countries 😊
I think they just think we also “stan” country even in the comments they write “we already left stan’s country” It’s sound so racist and stereotypical with a lot of prejudice They are not open minded at all
Not at all… when we say in comments we left stan counties we are talking about Kyrgz, Uzbek and Tajik which are the other 3 countries we visited after KZ because we are now at home in Scotland
@@menhera-jq4si Yes, I think so too. They have a limited outlook, and by the way, many Western people have such limited knowledge. Before going to another country, you still need to know where they are going.

We visited Bosnia 🇧🇦 last year, we have those vlogs on our channel 😊 it’s a super interesting country!
What time of year were you there?
It’s the end of summer but usually it’s hot. Now it’s getting cold in Astana. Our weather is changeable.
@@lallasalim2994 something about the video made me think it was recorded a while ago, I guess it was recent then.

How come so many travel blogers have decided to visit Kazakhstan in this very summer? You are like 15th blogger that popped out in my feed

No we don’t, we work at jobs and save up our money to travel then we try and live very cheaply 😊
It is Astana again, not Nursultan
Thank you, yes we found this out during our visit to Astana after speak in with a guide 😊

Haha thank you! A little bit 😂
Why do you always compare Kazakhstan with Pakistan? They are completely different countries. You think in stereotypes.
