If you're friend isn't already completely whipped for wangxian, there's something a lot of non-chinese audience missed near the end: (spoilers) in one of the battles, their robes get dyed red because of like a blood cultivation technique or something, then they don't exactly bow to each other, but there's gratitude exchanged and commitment conveyed and all that, and then they bow to the wens (wei ying's found family for a while), and the entire battle could be interpreted as bowing to the heavens. ESSENTIALLY You got the red robes, bowing before heaven, earth, parents, and each other, which are key components of a traditional Chinese wedding. And then they literally ride off into the sunset on little apple, to their little cottage with rabbits and radishes AND THEY LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER
I have read the first five books but some parts such as the cave scene where they see the statues that hua made or the confession scene, those weren’t mentioned in the books were they? Do they mention them in the later books which will be translated later on?

After the time skip and in WWX’s second body, they quickly got to first base the first time LWJ got drunk then skipped straight onto third base the second time LWJ got drunk, then scored at least 3 home runs in the time between them deciding to elope and just before they actually got married. After the marriage it’s pretty much winning the league with constant back to back home runs everyday with each other and maybe a home run between WWX and LWJ’s other sword…. And I say maybe because it was technically a dream sequence so I wasn’t sure if it counted….

I recently finished TGCF; I read the last 3 books online because I couldn't wait longer. I loved it so much, HuaLians relationship is my absolute favorite, its so romantic.
This was so fun and actually, I loved to hear the whole plot again. It's been a minute since I read the books and there were so many scenes that now make so much more sense. I gotta re-read them at some point, because there are so many characters and plots that I forgot half of them WHILE I was reading. LOL I'm definitely an MDZS fan first and foremost. I like the romance in TGCF but I really love the dichotomy of MDZS's "actual good" vs "society's idea of good".
This is a fantastic way to undermine the emotional resonance of the plot. The whole point of this video is to discuss the juicy parts, not the plot. MDZS and TGCF are novels with good plot and BL, and not BL novels where the sole focus is just the romance and nothing much is happening apart from that.

I recently finished TGCF; I read the last 3 books online because I couldn't wait longer. I loved it so much, HuaLians relationship is my absolute favorite, its so romantic.
This was so fun and actually, I loved to hear the whole plot again. It's been a minute since I read the books and there were so many scenes that now make so much more sense. I gotta re-read them at some point, because there are so many characters and plots that I forgot half of them WHILE I was reading. LOL
I'm definitely an MDZS fan first and foremost. I like the romance in TGCF but I really love the dichotomy of MDZS's "actual good" vs "society's idea of good".

This is a fantastic way to undermine the emotional resonance of the plot. The whole point of this video is to discuss the juicy parts, not the plot. MDZS and TGCF are novels with good plot and BL, and not BL novels where the sole focus is just the romance and nothing much is happening apart from that.
I red a title and instantly clicked on the video, but my mind somehow saw it was 9 minutes long. And for a second it loaded, i thought HHHMM IS IT POSSIBLE to explain everything in less than 10 minutes, only to realise we were blessed with an 50 minutes video hahahah

The entire time I was like "Oh my god Xie lian is such a cinnamon roll, we love him!!!" Quickly followed by "Oh shit this is gay????....... I did not expect that....... But go on...." But hearing about his past is.... odd.
