I've started using the Stonewall opening as White, and I've had tremendous success in my rating. Playing the Stonewall with Black is tricky, and I haven't caught the hang of it yet.
They probably resign after seeing youre on a massive win streak, so assume them having a losing position is just lost against a much better player It's the issue with smurfing, not everyone wants to participate
Gaining points via resignation is what basically happened to me on LiChess. At around 1400-1500, I was catapulted to ~1700 by people just resigning. Fortunately I was still able to hold my own at the 1700 level before I stopped playing. Definitely didn't earn it, though.
Send help big Aman plis.. I already asked below another stone wall video: What if white/black pins the f-pawn with an early queen move in the opening? How to push the queen away? Pushing the g-pawn seems weird and developing the knight blocks the f-pawn. 1300 looking for help 😢
By the way, Stonewall can be easily countered if you know what you are doing. In EVERY Stonewall game, Black can go Nf6, g6, Bg7, d6, 0-0, c5. cxd4 and when white plays exd4, black goes Bg4 and attempts to play Bg4 and e5. Remember that to you this setup, you need to have played Nf6 on move 1.
not everyone plays king's indian. And white can delay stonewall intentions for a couple moves, but I guess your idea is good for any KID or Grunfeld players
There is actually a better version of SW to play against the KID. There is a Chessable course by Stonewall expert Yaacov Norowitz on the stonewall attack, and he plays what he calls the "Cheesecake" against early g3 moves by black. He doesn't recommend Stonewall setup against early g3. You can play it, like Aman has shown, but against better players it is not optimal. It's like 1.d4, 2.e3, 3.Nf3, 4.Be2, 5.0-0, 6.b3, 7.Bb2, 8.c4, 9.Nc3, 10.d5
That casual headbop at 35:55 with 0.1 on the clock 🥵🥵🥵
0.1 sec checkmate never gets old.
Great work Legend, this content is top notch.

i also struggled with stonewall as black, i ended up just learning the french, it's got a lot of the same ideas and is a bit more sound i think
Knight d7 would have been pretty at 15:55
Wow that beer hall at the end...

Magical internet elo points are returned to the players. Also magical internet elo points don't get you anything.
Cant wait for next speedrun already
Hey Aman, I finally broke 1400 because of this speedrun. Thank you good sir. Much love. Keep up the amazing content

I like how only around 2000 elo people start clicking resign instead of wasting everyone's time getting humiliated.
Can anyone please tell me what the song is at 10:45. I love that song but can’t find out what it is.
Guys what's the song 47:28?
I quite like this opening but cannot say winning the majority of my games against other 900.

@@MatsMatsuo Yeah but if like d4 Nf6 e3, then the setup is very strong
