- Da'Vine Joy Randolph dishes on her "imperfect-perfect" holiday movie "The Holdovers," where she's stuck at a New England boarding school over the holidays with a curmudgeon teacher and a student who can't go home. Da'Vine opens up about the power of three broken characters coming together to make a whole, and bonds with Sydney Sweeney on how they come back to reality after playing devastating roles.

Needs to!
she did!!
@@Meriysi she sure did lol
She is amazing in everything- whether it's just a small supporting role or a much deeper character study like "The Holdovers". She will definitely get an Oscar nom for this- deservedly. She's spectacular.
I looooove Da’vine in every role, she’s an amazing actress and super funny. She’s also the ONLY worthy part of The Idol.
@@cristinaapariciolinale2119yup honestly she was the only character I actually liked in The Idol
We love davine joy
You are getting that Oscar Da Vine!
I love her I’m only murders just wish her character had wayyyy more scenes
Omg YESSSSS
I am in love with Da'Vine Joy Randolph! And u can tell how she has way more charisma and wit and warmth in her, she is just not letting it shine due to some restrictive beliefs in her mind. She could be as charismatic and funny and natural as Jamie .... Forgot his last name... Gotta look it up . Anyway , she is a force!!! Soooo talented, oh my god! Want her in all the movies made from now on and forever
Da Vine you look so beautiful! Can't wait to watch you in your Oscar nominated movie. And Congratulations on your Oscar win!
She did a great job in this movie, but I am sure the film's marketing team was getting pissed every time she kept referencing the wrong year period when the movie takes place. (It was from December 1970 to January 1971) where she kept saying 1969.
I noticed this too! It showed December 1970 several times.
Omg 1year
