I still have the 845s. Giving them to my son in law to learn how to play. Ping Eye2 s I still play time to time. They are copper. My son has Mizuno irons. He loves them. I have to admit, they feel great!!
I’ve had these irons for 20+ years and I LOVE them. I used to be a 6 handicap but now I’m a 13 since I don’t play much anymore but they still hit great!
I just regripped mine. Haven't used them for about ten years,,, gotta shake things up sometimes. Hit a few shots today, went straight to the three iron. Very satisfying.
Your very wise. You know just how many sets I went through before almost making to these... almost, because I have not yet got them, but I do own a set kzg and those kzg strongly resemble this club here. Minimal offset, sole and top line. I've wanted these clubs for nearly 20 years, but tried nearly every thing else from knock off's to Wilson fat shafts 😂 not against fat shafts! I hit those things a mile, but they did lack feel, and I flew a lot of greens. Anyhow pretty wise to find these so early is all.
started playing golf in july, and got these clubs soon after and i have loved them since! they feel amazing when you hit one pure. great video and great review!
I was thinking about golf again after 20 years today. I went to my bag to look at my clubs in case something was missing. I was expecting my Dunlops to be missing the PW. What I found was a full set of Mizuno mp 30 s. I have zero clue where, or who. Nice find tho. It is motivating me even more to make the attempt.
Great review: so informative & entertaining. I am a blade aficionado, and pulled these out of my collection the other day and after a day on the range put them back in my back for thr first time in over a decade (sorry Hogan Fort Worth 15’s). They are so solid and soft. Like Butter. Look forward to other reviews from you. Adams MB2’s? KZG zo’s? Thanks.
I game mp 14s which are great. I picked up a mp32 2 iron, the clouds opened, and I heard Jake and Elwood screaming, “Have you seen the seen the light?!” I screamed, “Yes, yes I have seen the light!!!” Really happened, and I was asked to leave the driving range.
Good looking design for sure, I don't know when Mizuno started making their irons slightly more upright, around this time I guess. I never thought to have my MP14's bent upright as they were a tad too flat despite playing some of my best golf with them, also not so good, lol! My recent purchase of a shot out set of MP32's caused great rejoice as I realized they were absolutely the best irons I'd ever hit, not just ultra cool looking as I thought twenty years ago. They're like game improvement irons compared to the 14's...or even my tried and true TM burner tour irons that I've had for years and years. Good video!
TGIF!!! Man I looked at these babies back then but I had my MP14's. Not the Mizuno's best ever looking clubs but I bet they were like butter still. Can't go wrong with Mizuno.
Would this MP-30 be classified as Half-blade during their old launch date? What would your thought of this MP-30 when compared to the modern Mizuno MP-241, 243 and 245?
I have two sets of precelt tour premium cb and they are exactly this club. The cavity is the wxact same. Though they might have moee offset than mizuno? Either way, when hit well, i dont even feel the ball. It feels that amazing
The 2002 Mizuno MP 30 looks very much like my 2003 Ben Hogan Apex Edge Pro that I game. The Hogan clubs look and feel great, so I imagine the Mizunos are the same.
I would like to see what your ultimate bag of 14 clubs would be. Any era from the 50’s to 2005. Zebra putter Som forged wedges from Macgregor. 845s as a 9-iron Titleist DCI 8-iron Ping Zing 7-iron Cleveland VAS 6-iron Ping Eye 2 BeCu 5-iron Top Flite Tour 4-iron Big Bertha S2H2 warbird 7-wood Any nice wooden 5-wood and a couple more but not sure what ones….
I like these irons. I kinda like Panda Express at times too. Orange chicken is good. The vocal on the range is good. I now know your slicing on purpose!🤣🤣🤣🏌🏽♂️🏌🏽♂️🏌🏽♂️Good vid AG.
Love videos of these old school clubs. Some of the best! Still rockin ping eye 2s and 845s.

I've only got the 3i in this set. I have not business playing it, but it's so fun to pull out from time to time.
Still using these today and I love them. Can hit 3/4 off the tee and these were the first full set I purchased after getting a starter set.

This put a huge smile on my face (for obvious reasons, plus I liked the on-course commentary).
Came for the club review, stayed for the restaurant recommendations.

picked these up for $130, and will never sell, absolute butter when hit right.
Great review. Great manufacturer.
Well presented; thank you for sharing.
I still use these. They were my dads. He likes them better than his new mizunos

Nice club and another good video. Thank you.
I game mp57's from 2008, they are still pretty good
Greetings from Argentina!
I like the new format hearing you plan each shot. I use Mizuno "Sure" to good effect.

Love love love my MP60's. Look similar. Butter off the middle.

Another Apex Edge Pro player here (in addition to all my vintage blades) and I was thinking exactly the same thing.
Thanks for the sharing. Appreciate the "talkie" range session.
Love this club. It's no different from MP33. It's still a blade. Maybe a little. Maybe a pro can tell the difference.
I still use these clubs. My pitching wedge i about worn out:(

Cavity forged aren’t old school , they were a new concept in the 90s , before that we had blades or cavity ,
Always drama in the delivery of the review. I was emotionally moved a couple of times.
Your swing need so much fix lol
