Great tutorial. I love how encouraging you are. Your voice is so calming and soothing, which is exactly what I need when I make anything because the stress and frustration levels can get pretty high. And I also love how you stress what matters most is doing it how you like it. Thank you for the great video
Thank You POLLY! I'M SO glad you heard me! Making Miniatures should be fun not stressful! There are no rules, deadlines, codes, load bearing walls or permits to pull! Have Fun enjoy the process and don't compare your work to anyone else's! Just do you Best! And if you are not happy with the result, that just means you need to do it AGAIN.... and maybe again. Each time you improve. Don't be afraid of being bad at it for a little while!☺️❤️ You will be better! Thank you for WATCHING!
That's a great video! The tape is such a great I! I used Christmas wrapping paper and clued it together. But the tape is thousand times better, because it stretches a little, when you bent the leaves. You helped me a lot ! And I will be back

Thank you Celeste!! Yes go ahead give it a try, but most of all ....Have Fun! Thank you for allowing me to share!!
They may not be based on any particular real plant, but they look real enough to me. :) So pretty!
Looks sort of like the Diffenbachia I used to have, if I spelled it right
I totally agree! I just needed some greenery! I love it when I see plants that are "botanically" correct! My plants are "Botanical Impressions"!
How cool that they are "recognizable"! LOL! My mom had those type of plants around our house all the time, so guess that's what i think of when i think of plants. SO at least they made a good 'impression'!
@@littlegretchensworkshop7665 mine died when I moved and no longer had a southern facing window
@@recoveringsoul755 I'm sorry, It's sad when we lose something we've cared for. I lost my Diffenbachia when I had twins and didn't remember to water my houseplants for 3 months. The good news is that the babies were cared for and did fine.
Beautiful work ! Thank you for sharing
Thank you Karen!
Wow

Just discovered this video of yours. You are easy to listen to :) Great tutorial and cute plants! Can't wait to make one like yours. Thanks for sharing and all the tips about not wasting stuff, things being ok if it's not perfect, saving for future projects, etc. I will look for more of your videos.
HI and WELCOME TO LITTLE GRETCHEN'S WORKSHOP ☺️❤️ SO GLAD YOU ENJOYED THIS VIDEO! Definitely check my previous content plus I've got lots coming up! Thank you for watching!
Brilliant
Thank you Karianne! I appreciate you for watching!
I don't do doll houses, I make plastic kits and do dioramas in quite a small scale. This can easily scale down to the scales I work in, so thanks for the great ideas.
Yes it would scale down easily! Glad you found it useful and thanks for watching!
Wonderful! I use various shades of watercolors on the tape for lighter colored plant leaves. Thanks for sharing! Kathleen
I'm glad you liked it! Thank you!
I Really enjoyed this video and I'm definitely going to make some! :)
Please do! I'm really glad you Enjoyed it! It is such a fun project, watching it all transform from something common to something Lovely.
These little plants look great. Can’t wait to try some.
Please do! I was so much Fun!!!
Such lovely plants made from masking tape, and floral wire! You never disappoint! I love that you used tea to make the potting soil for your potted plant! My Mom and I drink tea, and just throw away the used tea bags. Now, I think I can re-use the tea bags by letting them dry out, and collecting the tea leaves. You have inspired me to make some mini plants for my doll house! 😊😊 By the way, I saw some pretty flowers in some of your pots. Will you make a video tutorial on how to make the flowers?? I'd surely watch that! Thanks for the tutorial, Little Gretchen's Workshop! Take care! ~Janet in Canada
That is a very good idea to dry out used tea bags! I drink alot of tea too, but over the years i have certain ones that i don't really enjoy, so I use those for my "soil". Yes i do have that random floral pot there it was in the batch of leftover items i had while I was making the PLANTS. I do plan to do some flowers soon. I have so many videos lined up and the ideas keep coming, thank you for the suggestion. Also, let me know how your plants from tape turn out.
U can even use leftover coffee grains that r dried out, too!
Thanks for sharing! Im going to have to revisit this method when I make some more plants, the last method I tried turned out great for one plant, but the other plant....well I'm not sure what the heck kind of plant it was in the end lol, but it was part of the learning process so it will be tucked away in a dark corner somewhere.
You are welcome ☺️ YES use those items as fillers! Funny Fact: most of plants I make are not replicas of any particular species they are just "Green" 😂😂😂
Great idea! I would never have guessed you used tape if you hadn't said it was tape. It seems like a relaxing way to make plants :)
It is! I hope you try it! Let me know how yours turn out!
Puoi fare un video in italiano no. Si capisce molto bene cosa hai usato x il vaso😊
Is it Pre K because I thought it was FreaKay lol!
Lololollol 😂🤣🤣! I'm sorry I was not Clear! It's Pre-K as in Pre- Kindergarten 🤭😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😭
being called "dolls" is not for me.
Kelly: Hello Negative Nancy … clearly there’s a DIRECT connection to the DOLLhouse. Maybe you should move on to another channel that fits YOUR me-focused specifications.
love your work. i sent you an email. i am with several table top gaming and crafting groups on facebook and your techniques will be a great help us and i will be sharing your videos on our group pages. 631 subscribers today
Awesome! ok I need to check my email Thank you!
Its fun how the dollhouse, model railroad and gaming communities are doing many of the same things, with terrain, plants , aging, wood, stone, bricks etc.
@@recoveringsoul755 i had never seen leaves done this way. going to work on more realistic trees with this idea
@@jasonfrederick6564 I've seen people making palm trees for huge displays for action figures with tape and wire. Lots of videos of making trees, logs, vines for jungle scenes like for Predator or Yoda's Dagobah system hut, that sort of thing. I don't do the tabletop gaming but like Star Wars and miniatures so maybe I see it more. My Froggy Stuff channel and Where The Gnomes Live both have spooky tree tutorials and Froggy has some other plants too. Look up miniature greenhouse plants because the dollhouse world has kits for greenhouse buildings and those need plants. Some people make stores or produce stands so if you need a basket of apples you can find that too
