RIP Billma. Been watching your vids since the early days. Your works has been great inspiration to me to go out there and explore the world on two wheels. THANK YOU!
Thanks for posting these videos. Your videos were a big part of my college years. Remember watching them all over and over again and inspired me to do many of my own motorcycle trips and even an iron butt ride. Almost nostalgic watching these again. Hope all is well.
I love these videos guys, you two definitely pushed me into going further on my motorcycle. Done Europe again in May this year, really cold for strange reason this time, a lot of snow, well until we got to Italy. Planning a bike trip from Vegas at present, so I'm gonna watch all yours again Billy. Thanks man.
I hope to see more. Your videos inspired me to take my first cross country trip this summer and it was a life changing experience. It must be a lot of work filming and putting these together. Keep up the great work.
I watched this video again yesterday thinking "man, I wish Billy'd finish this" Woke up today to read the news from Downshift83 on Facebook. Rest in peace, brother
Sad news - may you rest in peace and your legacy will live on. Was great to meet and ride with you .... Condolences to your family and friends especially Tracy. 😞🏍
My riding partner and I just rode from Seattle to Boston and visited Devil's Tower. While there, a bus load of national Chinese people arrived. Some of them were more interested in us (bikers) and our bikes (BMW's) than the tower itself! It was mid-May, the temp was perfect for riding ( upper 50's - low 70's) and there were no crowds, except for that one bus. Love your videos with Tracy. Keep them coming!
Thank you, That's great haul if That would've been a BWOM trip, I would've named it "From Coffee Beans to Baked Beans" That makes sense, while not unheard of, I bet touring China by motorcycle is pretty uncommon
Its a great place, the problem is it's in the middle of nowhere. But, close to it are Mt Rushmore, the Crazy Horse monument, and Deadwood, SD where Wild Bill Hickock was killed holding the famous dead mans hand of Aces and Eights. You could totally do all of these stops in a day on a motorcycle.
Came back to watch some of these, makes me sad, Billy is the reason I bought a VFR back in 2015, and was the first ever moto-vlogging channel I ever subscribed to. I need to get out and ride more.
Thank you, I've been pretty blessed to see some of the stuff we have...I've been really wanting to do a "Top Twenty Favorite BWOM Shots" video some day
Actually Louis, this a trip from 2012, I have lost a bit of weight and grown a beard since then lol...unfortunately I lost my motorcycle endorsement last year because of failing my eye exam, I got a new eye doc, a new prescription...if I can get scheduled, I should be riding again before the end of this month...and Yes, I have three hondas =)
It's pretty neat, we didn't this time, I had been there in car in 1998 and we played around in the boulder field...I think I have video of that around here somewhere lol
Billy, way off topic from this vlog, but I just wanted to tell you I have always enjoyed your UA-cam videos. I am the guy who bought your 919 some 6 years ago, was going to comment on your tribute to the bike but wasn't sure you'd see it. She's still running strong and giving me grins every time I take her out , though, not as often as I'd like. Keep it up!!
Dan, I completely missed this comment, I apologize...That is awesome...I miss that bike badly...I have a good friend who has a 2007 that I get to ride once in a while...I would love to see pics of the girl if you have any handy!
Yeah I can get you some pics, what would be the best way to get them to you? I will let you know if I ever decide to sell it, but I don't see that happening any time soon, she's a sweet ride.
Dude.. you know how i know you're a Nerd? you're wearing an Atari shirt, in the place where "encounters of the third kind" takes place! hehehehe thats just awesome .
Thank you, UA-cam does flag me, but I'm a partner, so they just put an ad on my video and make the music available for download in the description...so It kinda works out for everyone..
Thanks for the reply. Me and the Mrs started a new channel for touring vlogs (thanks for the inspiration) so I am trying to figure things out. Does it affect your monetization?
Great answer, samer here. We are very passionate about our rides, and want to share it. We have about 70,000 2up miles under our belt, but are only now starting to document them. A little late to the game lol.
70,000 miles is awesome...that's a little more touring miles than I have...I usually get about 10k a season, but most of that is 200 mile Sunday morning jaunts to clear my head
The place we usually stay is a time share, which is usually about 200 a night...it's much bigger, nicer and it's in middle of the woods....The down side is it's about 10 miles away from town proper, so if we did anything, we have to get out a bit. This place was half that and right downtown in the middle of everything. I found the geo center in a book I have...There is a geo center of the contiguous US in Lebanon, KS...about 220 miles from my house. I've been meaning to do a day trip out there and make a Mini BWOM out of it
RIP Billma. Been watching your vids since the early days. Your works has been great inspiration to me to go out there and explore the world on two wheels. THANK YOU!

Roll that throttle on and ride Billy! You'll live on in the memories of every biker that travels the roads you've shown us in BWOM. RIP.
I hope to see more. Your videos inspired me to take my first cross country trip this summer and it was a life changing experience. It must be a lot of work filming and putting these together. Keep up the great work.

I'm really happy to see new videos from ya. Great stuff. Thanks! :)
Thank you, it's pretty old footage, but it's nice to get back into editing.
Thanks for sharing, always wanted to see Devils tower via motorcycle.
Its worth a stop for certain, Thanks for the comment
Cool scenery!
definitely putting the devils tower on my list of places to road trip to.

Nice to see you guys out touring on the bikes again.

Good stuff
Thanks Greg!
got me! it took me a minute to realize Tracy's shirt was backwards, not the video. haha!
Hahaha, if makes you feel better, I did that when I was editing the video, and I was there in real life!
Really enjoy your videos. You're so lucky to have a good travel partner. FJRider
Thanks Bill, we have had alot of good riding together, I appreciate the kind words
RIP buddy
Ride the endless highway in the sky brother.
Just learned of his passing. RIP Billmaa. Catch you on the flip side.
Hope this is a new trip. It would be comforting to know you are still riding Mr. Musick.
Actually Louis, this a trip from 2012, I have lost a bit of weight and grown a beard since then lol...unfortunately I lost my motorcycle endorsement last year because of failing my eye exam, I got a new eye doc, a new prescription...if I can get scheduled, I should be riding again before the end of this month...and Yes, I have three hondas =)
very nice..keep it up
Thanks man, I'll do my best
Great video as always, my friend! Isn't Devils Tower just the coolest? Did you guys take some time to go play in the boulder field around it?
It's pretty neat, we didn't this time, I had been there in car in 1998 and we played around in the boulder field...I think I have video of that around here somewhere lol

And if she is ever up for sale, please let me know =)
Yeah I can get you some pics, what would be the best way to get them to you? I will let you know if I ever decide to sell it, but I don't see that happening any time soon, she's a sweet ride.
I've been wondering why there was no activity from Billy... Ride in peace, sir. You'll be missed.
some of those US rural areas are very pretty
They can definitely be great sites to see
You are riding Honda, shooting Nikon and wearing Atari - that makes you super cool !
Hahaha, I don't know about that, but they are some of my favorite brands
great video, makes me want to take off. What song is that at the beginning?
It's called "Rapid Empire" by Canon Logic...Its one of the brothers' bands from my favorite cooking show here on UA-cam called "Brothers Green Eats"
RIP man. I found out from xxxdeadhead.
The cabin looks pretty good compared to some rat holes I've stayed in.
Hahahah like the "Hub"
billmaa hahaha Indeed!
Dude.. you know how i know you're a Nerd?
you're wearing an Atari shirt, in the place where "encounters of the third kind" takes place!
hehehehe
thats just awesome .
Hahaha, the first version of this video had footage from Close Encounters, but YT blocked it before I even made it live...
are you riding again or still have old man eyes? How's the 86 coming along?
To be continued...
Great video Billy. Missing the BWOM's. I love the music you use.
Doesn't youtube flag you for the music? How do you get around that?
Thank you, UA-cam does flag me, but I'm a partner, so they just put an ad on my video and make the music available for download in the description...so It kinda works out for everyone..
Thanks for the reply. Me and the Mrs started a new channel for touring vlogs (thanks for the inspiration) so I am trying to figure things out. Does it affect your monetization?
It does impact my monetization...but I never got into youtube for an income...I just wanted to share our story

Did not know about that geographical center thing. Cool! Those cabins are pretty decent. How was the price compared to where you'd usually stay?

A Honda. lol
You big tease... What was out the front????

One of the true great people of our time...

If it's true, RIP to billmaa-a true pioneer!

The Heron Hero I heard that he passed, not sure the details.
Apparently he passed away Xmas-eve/day.
Great music edit.
