Our Nemours Children's Hospital in Delaware orthopedic program is among the 20 selected as "Best Children's Hospitals" by U.S. News & World Report.
Our Cardiology Center, Cancer, and Blood Disorders Center, Gastroenterology and Gastrointestinal Surgery Center, and Neurology and Neurosurgery Center have also received recognition.
Furthermore, Nemours is a leader in Pediatric Interventional Radiology, utilizing advanced imaging and minimally invasive treatments to precisely address pediatric diseases with small incisions, reduced recovery time, and less pain. We are one of the few programs in the country performing advanced liver procedures in children, such as treating liver tumors that were previously untreatable.
Nemours cares for children even before birth: we diagnose potential congenital deformities during pregnancy and assist parents in planning the best treatment and care in advance.
We have partnered with ChristianaCare in an Advanced Delivery Program for healthy pregnant women whose babies will require immediate and complex postnatal care. Our Level 4 Intensive Care Unit and neonatal specialists provide the best start for babies born with medical issues.
Our Delaware hospital is part of Nemours, an internationally recognized pediatric healthcare system, which includes Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida, and outpatient facilities in five states for primary, emergency, and specialized pediatric care.
