Pakistan have a plan of 32 Major Warships by 2030-35. That includes 14 Frigates, 12 Corvettes & 6 heavier tonnage ships. Pakistan already have a fleet of 31 Helicopters including 20 Sea Kings which are primarily used for SOF missions and around 8 Z9 Helicopters. If we do an estimate then we need 28 ASW Helicopters in total. Pakistan already have a plan to induct more Z9 Helicopters for Corvettes & Tughril + Zulfiqar frigates. Pakistan is also acquiring another Helicopter probably Chinese Z20 or Italian option for Jinnah Class + heavier tonnage ships.
@@Mujtaba478 For Jinnah Class AW101 will be a great option. For Tughril Class Pak Navy will obviously go with a Chinese option. Babur class corvettes should have a European ASW helicopter just like other systems but don't see any european options rather so maybe latest version of Z9.
@techdomain6901 For Yarmook, Babur, Tughril, Zulfiqar class Pakistan is going to choose Z-9 100%. But for Jinnah & Other class in my opinion it's going to be Z20F.
