I love meeting and talking with people. Its such a great way to learn from others and connect with fellow people. I was at the grocery store today and had a lovely chat with 2 elderly ladies about apple recipes, and helped another lady find the bin of apples on sale. Kindness and friendliness is free, and you never know how something so simple can cheer others up as it much as it makes you feel good too. I love seeing you treat your customers with kindness and with interest in their thoughts, and you don't pressure people to buy which is the best way to sell. Take care George
George, when you were finding a place to set the two Carnival glass glasses and you showed the butterflies on them, I got very excited! I have several glasses like those, plus the butter, sugar, creamer and spoon holder in that pattern. They belonged to my husbands family and came from a local church picnic back in the day. A couple of other families in the area have the water pitcher and matching set of glasses. You made my day!

That painted Fenton vase looked interesting, I forgot there are painted pieces that have strong painting too. Strong as in very diff from the painting on the Fenton pitcher. Reading the comments, I can't imagine you having any bad ones. I've been watching all your uploads for quite awhile now, and you're smart and articulate. What's to complain about that?? If I were younger (vs. older and downsizing) I would buy tons of stuff from you. I sold on EBay for many years, and love glass, pottery, vintage etc. and love watching everything you offer here. My favorite thing about you is people always tell me how thin I am. And you're about as thin as me!!! LOL!! ❤❤❤

I've never watched you set up before and I am impressed by the genuine effort and fun you said you were having. Good luck in your sales. Hearing your comment about the "dogs and cats comment", it is my understanding that was voiced by local residents and passed on by politicians in concern for the residents of that state. It is good that the new temporary legal residents have jobs however, the permanent legal residents and their families are in very difficult circumstances in the areas of children''s schooling, medical services and jobs. because of the arrival of so many new temporary legal residents.

I don't usually share my views on current subjects, but you are right that local residents have legitimate concern because the state of Ohio seemed to be caught flat footed and did not provide for overcrowding in schools, hospitals and the DMV (whle pet eating appears to have been made up, traffic accidents are genuinely a problem.
I don't think it was a resident. I am so glad Governor Dewine has stepped up to help with the logistics that must be addressed. I hope the supports are in place soon .Kids of all ages must be scared with all the bomb threats. Not to mention everyone else 😢

I lived in Cape Girardeau from 9 years old to 12… lived in the country and had so much fun running in the woods and creeks!! The downtown is so cute! And I remember an old soda fountain I think in a Woolworths!!
I was bummed to have missed your booth this year. I was so hot on Friday i just couldn't remember the lay of the land like i normally do. On Sunday when I was there your booth wasn't open. Hopefully you had a good show!
I do shows and have 2 spaces in malls and I love the interactions with people also. It does take a while to set up I used to use crates but have found folding benches for shelves which makes things easier in the pack

I used to go to the extravaganza in the mid to late 1990’s then pull out Saturday night and go to Burlington,KY.Lot’s of sales in Springfield and good buying then lots of fantastic buying in Burlington Sunday morning early then much buying in Greenville ,KY on the way home .
Bridgerton parties are popular with wedding shower themed gatherings. Some beautiful ladies did their food truck in florals and vintage tea cups and served wonderful assortments of teas with their hair embellished and styled in updos. Fun trend. I couldn’t make it to see you this year. Do you go there other times of the year?
It's nice to see people enjoying fancy again in a world of stripped down styling and WalMart fashions. I only go to the big extravaganzas in Springfield each May and October.
I have the uranium cake plate as well as the egg beater cup.. can't decide if I want to keep as is or find the actual metal egg beater before resale. I've found a few that fit
I like when vendors at any kind of sale have their items priced. I don't like to dicker, and I know my budget, so if your price is double of my budget, I don't think anyone would give a 50% discount if I did dicker!
I know you're right, many people feel the same! I am terrible about it because I"m always getting fresh stock right before a show, but I do tell people right away what I'm asking and I usually do a discount if asked

I rarely use newsprint directly against anything, and NEVER if it's going to be stored for any length of time. I try to only use it to pad the bottom of a box, or I try to put a non-print layer around the piece first

Almost every retail store has surveillance cameras now so people are used to being filmed constantly, and just entering a private space constitutes implicit agreement
