The 90' were rap's golden era
Nothin but facts
Fact
Today's rappers are certainly more skilled, but today it's diluted with utter dimwitted rappers.
@@sportmemer3178 more skilled than who? Eminem, Tupac, biggie, Nas or Big L?
Amen!!!
Mase came in during the middle of the Pac & B.I.G beef. He held Bad Boy down during a time where no one knew where the label was going after B.I.G died. He help keep the label afloat until he decided to leave music for a few years. Also that's Kelly Price singing the hook she's an R&B singer/songwriter she sung the hook to other Bad Boy songs like Mase "Feels So Good."
The "I'm comin'" part is actually Diana Ross I think. It sounds exactly like the part of the song "I'm Coming Out," which they sampled for this song.
@@caramelthunder1980okay but Kelly price is also singing
@@tameragzz that’s cap 🧢
@@paulkendrick4153 it’s not tho ..
Kelly Price sang the hook. And she later sued Diddy claiming he never paid her for this song.
Something Diddy is notoriously known for (pun intended).
Really? WOW!
@@timwatsontimwatson True
@dadayou he need to pay both
She did?? all these years. I also thought it was Faith Evans.
As a 90’s kid graduating HS 99-2000 I have to say we had some incredible music!!!!
Rap was at its height imo
Slow Jamz & the baby making 🎵 was insane!
The Alternative/Seattle Sound took over!
Country was mostly COUNTRY!
Rock & Heavy Metal groups still existed! Mainstream radio was listenable! Lol
the best!
I agree
Best era of romance and hittin' the clubs with the music at that time made u feel invincible. For some reason, there were more fine women back then- in the clubs/bus stops/train stations. Great era!!!
We sure did.
I graduated about the same time and this is correct 😁
The 90s baby, the pinnacle of hip hop, yall reacting to some of the realest shit right now, keep it up.
Mase is an incredible rapper!! “FEELS SO GOOD” 🔥🔥🔥🔥
BUT….
Biggie is on a whole different level!!! one of the Greatest!!!
I loved MASE Harlem World. I didn't skip any songs on that album. Still jammin it.
Here's a fun fact. After Biggies untimely death. Bad Boy was falling apart. Puffy was trying to find new talent and then he found MA$E. He brought new life to Bad Boy. Salute to MA$E.
Mase was with Bad Boy before Biggie's death.
@@monstar2746 no he wasn’t
@@paulkendrick4153yes he was Ma$e is the who took Cam to Big
@paulkendrick4153 he literally was 😂😅 how old are you sir
False Murda Ma$e was with Childen of the Corn it was him Big L and Cam put some respect on his name
The 90s were my college years and you couldn’t go to a frat party without Biggie, PAC, and Cube
Eve and Gwen Stefani "let me blow your mind" it's produced by Dr. Dre
Such a fire song!
Mase an OG. Actually miss the cat. He became a preacher and left the rap game. RIP Biggie. Much love.
You should listen to the diss track he just put out about puff
Dude actually just signed with Death Row, believe it or not
Mase dun being preacher nw he preachin war.😆
40 now. Teen in the mid to late 90's. Best decade for Rap and R&B. Hands down. Nothing compares today.
Y’all gotta listen to Notorious thugs with Biggie and Bone Thugs, make sure to do the LYRICS version
Great song.
Bone and Biggie! Classic!!
Absolutely have to do it
Yep
Bone thugs one of the few artists or groups to do a song with biggie pac and easy e
You guys said that you like the beats in this song, the original song was by Diana Ross back in the late 1970's I'm Coming ming Out.
K ?
Bout time you youngins stepped your game up to the Golden Era of Rap n Hip Hop!!! There is so much of the 90s that ya'll would really dig!! LETS FUCKIN GOOO!!! 💪💪💪
This is such an unexpected pleasure to see these young men discover and enjoy real Lyricist!
Im 14 and I love to hear and enjoy to the real ogs and old school rappers
That was a trip down memory lane as I’m an early 80s baby. Check out Mase- Feels So Good, Puff Daddy- Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down, Nelly St.Lunatics- Batter Up, & Nas- One Mic. Oldies but goodies!
Biggie & bone thugz- Notorious Thugs- Arguably the greatest song ever
They gotta do it
Biggies flow on that song is on another level
Love the addition of dude in the back, the one with the Christian TikTok. Not a religious man myself but I respect dude's admiration for his faith and how he carries himself. All these dudes got a great demeanor, not a demon in the room
Dead Wrong is Biggie and Em!!!!
Cmon guys you gotta do that one!
Lol they gonna have to censuser that whole damn song.
Time to revisit this music video in 2024, specifically, September 2024. 😏
This was the jam. Everybody was on the dance floor whenever this came on. It was good times for sure
Thank you all for bringing some 90s vibes my way 💃🏾
Mase wrote this song and Diddy gave it to Biggie for his album. React to Mase feel so good
I have seen the best interest rates only at staking sites with Cross Staking technology, Cross Staking for example
Honestly, as far as 90s hip hop bangers go, it's hard to beat Mo Money Mo Problems. This jam is pretty much top dog in that category. It has everything.
I been mentioning Nas - “Rewind” is a banger but it’s been completely ignored every time 😂
Unique storytelling and still the song I’ve ever heard with the ending of the story was the beginning of the track and the beginning of the story is at the end of the track. Never heard any other rapper spit a song backwards.
I keep telling them King Los. Hopefully they get to it at some point. Rewind is crazy they gotta do it.
@@davidgbenke I’m sure they get a wild amount of submissions and it’s hard to keep up with everyone lol but yeah, would be dope af to see that Rewind reaction. It’s a short song but it’ll blow their mind for sure. King Los reactions would be dope as well, I agree
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I had such a huge crush on Mase. When he came back with the "Welcome Back" song.. damn, THAT was FIRE.
Awesome to see the 90's joints. Love to see you guys react to the actual bars in some of these. The 90's is FULL of amazing videos tho.
This makes me feel so old sometimes haha
Right im like where did my life go. Time goes by fast
You should check out more of the '90s and early 2000's music.
"5 on it" beat for the LUNIZ is pretty well known also... check it
Biggie actually died 4 months before this came out . Rest in Paradise 🙏🏼 👑
The woman singing the song is Kelly Price!!! She has an amazing voice.
Dr Dre has a legacy spanning from NWA to Putting on Snoop, producing PAC, Putting on Em, Kendrick, Game and so so much more
I feel like Pastor Mase is about to come back out. We'll see. This was a great time to be alive the music between the 90s and early 00s was unmatched. Y'all should do some Q-Tip and the group he was apart of A Tribe Called Quest. They were 🔥
Mase just signed with Death Row Records
He got a ep with Cam'ron coming out the 1st of next month
Bro love yall. Yall trip me out. Remind me of my bros doing the same stuff before youtube was a thing. Showing my age 38, bad boys killed it back in the day. Shyne, mase, biggie and puffy. . Loved putting the Walkman on playing cds skateboarding to them. Times have changed.
I'm tellin' y'all: "I got a story to tell" is one of the greatest songs of all time. So many rappers changed their storytelling and bar flow because of this one song!
Biggie smalls one of the greatest lyricist in the rap game... His album Ready to die is one of the greatest hip hop album of all time
I love seeing ya'll smiling and having a good time. Makes me feel like I'm gonna have a good day.
No That's Not Faith Evans Singing The Hook That's Kelly Price....U Can See Her Face Up Top as She's Singing!
Loved this. I remember seeing the No Way Out Tour in 97. Sadly after I never got to see Biggie since he had passed but the concert had this song and a crazy good lineup ( jay z, lil kim, foxxy brown, mase , mya,the lox, faith evans , jay z , usher, busta rhymes. I forget if sisqo was there but in my mind I feel he was there doing his song with mya . ). Just a great time in music
You have to listen to Biggie and Bone Thugs and Harmony - Notorious Thugs !
Thanks for the trip down memory lane
Notorious Thugs - Biggie and Bone thugs n harmony. If yall haven't done it yet. But yall DEFINITELY need to do some 90s Bone thugs
That beat was a sample of an old school Diana Ross classic.
You boys are making me feel old, damn! 🤣
The white outfits on the dancers look like Rihanna’s at the Super Bowl! This song is a classic, love your reaction!
Ya’ll make me feel old & I’m only 31 😂 We had so much fun back in the 90’s early 2000😩
Big.big.big. I was in high school. This came out and PD just kept 'em coming with video's too.
Late 90s early 00s wad the golden age of party music! Whether hip hop or house or just shout anything goes
Holy crap, I had this in my car all the time. I still have the CD single!
Biggie, Tupac, G.M.Flash , countless others RULED THE WORLD !! They said things that needed to be said !! Legends All of Them !!
Tupac: when we ride. All eyes on me..( actually the whole album you should do). Also Easy E : Real MF'in G's. Creep and Crawl and What would you do . Just to name a few from Easy
This is exactly how I imagine the younger generation would react when listening to older music thank you don't change and those people that tell you don't talk so much there are many other reactors that don't talk barely at all so so thank you
I said yoooo. I love you young bulls. Keep hitting with the fire boyysss
I’m only in my early 40s, y’all make me feel old, lol, but I LOVE your reaction videos. (Don’t ever let anyone say anyone is better then MJ, Chris Brown & Usher and thousands became who they are because of the King.😉👑)
True , michael jackson is better than them.
90s got you boys and there is no way out. The best✊🏼
They were full blown here.
Great, great song & vid.
Mase can spit fr
check out “Ni**as done started something” by Dmx, Mase, and The Lox
His verse was the best IMO 🔥
90s music is in a class by itself! We had so much talent and today’s generation could never fathom what a fun decade that was to live in and buy CDs watch TRL listen to the radio
I am only 37 goddamnit don’t call the music of my teenage years OG bangers!!! Lmao 😂😂
Not far behind you. Same bracket. What if they find out about xhibit
these young boy..you will never truly understand alot of these bars..had to be there! but glad yall trying
Mase- Feel so good 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Who remembers The Box music channel??
Stop playin this song was getting requested non stop one of the most memorable verses of all time.
Yo pull up hypnotize I wanna hear yo reaction to that banger
King Los “Control remix”, “a milli freestyle”, “la leakers freestyle 2019” “vintage rolls Royce interior” “outro”. Bars bars bars
Biggie was dead before the digital era. Dre is still putting out material, still alive, and still active. Gave us some of the best rappers also.
It's very exciting to see you young fellas getting excited for 90's rap. But of course that was Kelly Price on the hook but I'm sure someone else pointed that out.
Yoooo let’s go Ny in the building. Keep working fellas
BROS, the bad boy era was DIFFERENT!!!! Mase might be one of the most slept on GREATS ever. If he had a longer career I guarantee he'd be talked about differently, slick talk for dayyyys. Mase was the go-to feature guy before Wayne did that shit. He floated on EVERY track.
dunno how folks likes to mumble rap when you have real music like this
The sample is I'm Coming by Diana Ross and Nile Rogers and Bernard Edwards from the group Chic wrote the song and produced the music!
Maaannnn.... y'all videos are hilarious... seeing y'all react to my eras music is priceless.
Blowing yall up need some spm reactions 3rd wish, beach house, real og , I must be high!!
He's in some real trouble 😮😮😮😮
I can’t even front this reaction was hard to watch. Y’all talked through the whole…..song. It kinda makes sense because you don’t really have to listen to today’s Rap you just have to feel the vibe. When you react to old school though you have to pay attention fellas. Keep pushin though.
@@118eighteen lol….nah…it wasn’t. When you talk through a song you miss things.
@@118eighteen I like a lot of their reactions….just not this one.
YES TALKED WAYYY TOO MUCH
One of the greatest songs of all time, not just in rap/hip hop, it’s timeless
In case nobody answered about the chorus - that’s the Legendary Kelly Price!! You guys should react to some of her stuff !!!
The lady killin’ the vocals is actually Kelly Price (not Faith Evans) - Kelly is a ‘thick chick’ so they hid her on a screen in the background. She’s a popular 90s singer but also sings on “Ultralight Beam” by Kanye.
I appreciate y’all videos fellas
That's Kelly Price singing the hook.
Dr. Dre The Cronic was HUGE!!! Arguably the biggest album of the 90's
Reminds me of clubbing in the 90s and early 2000s in my twentys.
Notorious B.I.G. 'Hypnotize me'
This took me straight back to being 14 years old in high school.
Biggie- “Warning”
You will not be disappointed
Mase “the player way”. Ma$e SNAPS
KELLY PRICE DID THE CHORUS
the 90s great time high school I still have the single cd and the whole cd when this came out great times for music hip hop rap and R&B
I'll Be missing You is a straight banger, also One more Chance..love you guys you are a serious vibe!!
Omg... Blast from the past and still loving it 🔥👏👏😄💜
The old school joints had true hooks, unlike today
I'm not a huge badboy music guy...but they might have taken the cake for the nicest music videos of the late 90s
Man this song takes me back to middle school. I remember it playing on the bus ride home.
I appreciate reliving these times wit yall
Looking love y'all and your channel, but give Ma$e mad props!
He said y'all forget I'm half white. Bro I'm in tears 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I remember when this video came out. NY video music box and BET
The era of maaaaaaaaaad samples.... Respect the Diana Ross sample
Cypress Hill "Insane in the Membrane"
