What hurts the most is what Eric feels. I used to have a best friend and she likes the same guy who treated her poorly. They both went on a date on Valentine's day Three years ago. I tried to warn her that he's a bad person cuz I saw him with another girl but she didn't listen. I even told her I had feelings for her but she didn't took it seriously. Until one day she found it out herself he's with another girl. I didn't bother talking to her ever since so I moved on until we met each other again last 2021 and talked alot till she asked if she can go out with me but I politely refused cuz I already have a gf. I said this: "I'm flattered by ur offer but I can't accept it. It's true I had feelings for you back then but I moved on I already have someone and I don't want to lose her". I'm just glad she understands what I said but I can tell she's sad and crying as she walked away. This is based on true story I had the same experience as Eric does in this video Moral of the Story: Love someone who is a real person. Because only a real person knows how to express and feel emotions and will accompany and support you no matter what.
I totally agree on why someone wouldn't want to be famous. People overwhelm you, so much stress, and it's kinda dangerous for you to go outside or anywhere.
