Man, I am so glad that this game exists. Not only is it visually STUNNING with its unique style of animation (which I absolutely cannot get enough of), but it is also super fun!! The soundtrack is such a banger that I knew I had to remix this track. I really like how it turned out! Honestly I might also do The Death That I Deservioli because that is just as good if not better. Anyways, enjoy this remix! Gameplay by me, not bad for my literal first run through some of the levels if I do say so.
This was done from scratch using VGM music maker, and VGM2TFI to get the instruments from Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I then modify said instruments to my needs. I used Corrscope for the oscilloscope view of the audio channels, and Aseprite for all of the sprite editing/spritework. I sampled the drums from the original, using LALAL.AI. If you guys have any suggestions for another song I should cover, comment down below!

I did do it from scratch, yes! Something that helped me is trying to hear each of the voices (lead, bass, drums, and harmony but that one is still hard for me) and transcribe them one by one. Lalal.ai is a great tool that can use AI to separate the audio into those parts, I use that to help transcribe each voice and sometimes sample drums from the original
