This video took me so long to make MAINLY because I suddenly found out on august 2nd that I have less than a month to find a new place to live so I spent a month running around like a headless chicken... fun times
Just remember: The Nemesis is playing RECORDINGS. You're hearing the last words of your fellow employees before it ripped them to shreds, and regardless of whether or not you actually fall for the ruse or if you intentionally go after it to avenge your lost comrades, it's still using their final moments to lure in its next victims...
What I think is the worst is that recording of “Look what I found!!” Which means that there was a poor innocent dwarf showing his friends some goofy stuff in the caves and then BOOM he’s dead, ripped to shreds.
The recent update gave Nemesis the "WE'RE RICH" and "MUSHRUM" voice lines, indicating that the thing even attacked dwarves in the middle of the Richual. How rude.
@@subtlewhatssubtle i like to think that it has a”learning”phase and it just listened in on the richual making a sound repeatedly and it slowly started to turn from random nonsense to”we’re rich”

Okay but the Nemesis' dying voicelines are genuinely unsettling. It reveals its sapience with almost every one of them, and in the one shown here it's difficult not to imagine just what such a machine could have witnessed. It's too strong to be threatened by anything but the strongest wildlife, which has been shown to ignore it anyway, and it spends almost all if not all of its time on hoxxes, and the game has hinted at truly terrifying variants of the glyphids before. If any one thing not native to hoxxes is equipped to explore the deepest regions of it, it's Nemesis.
You bring up a very good, very scary point. And yet, we can kill the Nemesis with ease if we know what we're doing (which is not many of us), so how do *we* compare to those horrors?
The worst part is that it doesn’t need a rival presence modifier to spawn, I literally just played a mining expedition mission, and I encountered one, WITHOUT THE RIVAL PRESCENCE TAG.
Those death lines, they're recording of dwarves it has killed the " i never had any friends" probably comes from a dwarf on a solo mission And the "i've seen thing you dwarves would never believe..." probably comes from a dwarf speaking to his squad

Windette: The Nemesis is absolutely terrifying Me: Well, yes, perhaps it would be... Except I'm playing "The-big-man-with-a-big-gun-that-goes BRRRRR" * Minigun sounds and doom music *
God you just uncovered the core memory of when me and my partner first discovered the Nemesis. I heard it through the walls and was trying to figure out what it was saying, we both thought it was a distress call because of how digital it sounded. We thought we would go on a hunt for a fellow dwarf in need. Nope. Hell no. It was death. We were both fairly new to the game, only like level 4, or 5? We stood chance against that thing; we failed that mission hard and were utterly flabbergasted that they put that thing in the game. We haven't heard those damn cries since.
I'm still getting comfortable playing Haz 3 as the reliable one lol. I was starting to think I was ready for Haz 4 but maaaaybe not lol. Haz 5 looks flipping insane and I honestly think seeing that would completely change the game for me lol. I can't wait until I'm ready. Also... That nemesis... My first encounter, I literally just landed in the Bogs and the doors open up. It's just Bosco and myself and the very first thing I hear in the dark is. "FoUnD sOmEtHiNg!!". I wasn't even off the drop pod yet. I dead stopped... tossed my flares everywhere and I even had to double check to make sure nobody joined me yet. Lol I was a little spooked not even gonna lie. It turned into the greatest moment ever because two oppressors and a swarm hit as I actually ran into the nemesis. Lol great night.
That lethal warning Flare up the hole in the ceiling will always be terrifying, not because of the sound and variant of the glyphids bc they are easy to kill but the sheer scale... dear God
Hey Windette, loved the DRG insult videos. Have yet to watch the rest but I thought it would be interesting to do more explained in insults videos for other online games where you can explain each available class in your own unique way. For instance, Destiny 2, a favorite game of mine with a wide selection of play types and weapons. P.S. in your previous DRG video I really liked the line “driller got ahold of an honest to god war crime”
Tip for "low o2" modifier levels: remember the resupply pods you can order after collecting enough nytra? Place them in important areas you frequently walk around depending on your mission.

As a person who’s played a bunch of DRG, I will say this is completely accurate
I am officially adopting the name Shia as the perma nickname for the unknown horror
6:22 I have all four, I'm fucked in the head. Also this video made me want to play parasite mutator a lot more. Vengeance for the Valkyries.
>Elite bugs
You've not experienced TRUE TERROR unless you've gone Hazard 5 with Elite on... And suddenly the elite bug is a fucking Bulk Detonator zooming across the entire cave oneshotting everyone, Ultra Instinct music and all.
But then once you've played a while, Haz 1-3 are boring, Haz 4 becomes the normal and Haz 5 is a nice challenge. Cave leeches will give you paranoia once you've been grabbed once, swarmers can be a NIGHTMARE on Lethal Enemies modifier + Swarmer Infestation.
I only recently realized that I had this came from PS+ and I’m loving it so far. I’ve tried the driller guy, engineer, scout (my favorite so far), and the guy with a mini gun. Also you were right in the last video, Bosco is absolutely nuts.
7/10 needs more gunner ziplines

shard diffractor art too
A tip for the leeches: USE THE PERK THAT SHOWS YOU WHEN YOURE GOING TO GET GRABBED!
even if you do get grabbed, youll be able to break free a few times
Answering the beginnings warning: Or we could be Sadist people that are here looking for insults for idiots... Anyways... Thanks as always for uploading!
oh i didn't think of that!
These 2 DRG videos have finally given me the drive to try this game out.
I'm really liking it, so thanks Windette
I love gaming .
as you should
That’s because of this type of videos we have greenbeards invading our haz 5 missions. Nice!
It’s always nice to play with greenbeards and teach them some new tricks(under haz 4)
Always great to watch your content and thanks for the new one. I haven't played DRG in a while so I'm gonna go, grab my friend who has xenophobia, plop us in to a hazard 5 mission and pray to rock and stone that we last longer than 2 minutes, then do it again. Take care man, hope you're having a good one and we'll see ya next time
I found you randomly with a Dead Cells video and I fucking LOVE these, you perfectly explain the videos whilst insulting us, this is able to keep my low ass focus, thank you Windette!
Yes feed my inner masochism! I mean, how dare you speak to me like that!
soon it shall no longer be so "inner"
@@Windette 🙌 Ya got me.
I just wanted to comment to support the video &
You nailed the hazard feel so perfectly ^_^ Loved the previous video too!
At 6:16 did anyone comment on this?
You have no idea how your videos are one of the best things on this platform, thank you very much. a big hug from your brazuka friends!!
Windy, you succeeded in making me get this game and I now have an ungodly amount of hours in it. My games range from “BOW BEFORE YOUR REAPER” to “where the hell did that come from, deep breaths before you snap your monitor”
GOD the nemesis intro was awsome
4:15 beautifully done and perfectly captures the absolute terror of Haz 5
Yo the editing took a MAJOR step up here, mad props!
Drink enough beer and you become the hazard
3:26 "What am I supposed to do here?" Kill Billy the Bulk Detonator, he'll show up next mission anyway. Hell, he showed up in my tutorial mission.
"Where's Molly gone?" Iunno man, that questions' been plaguing me since I first started playing the game.
I just love how this guy goes from sounding nearly calming to sounding absolutely batshit insane
Good lord the Editing, the presentation, the... Everything! Rock and Stone, brother!
The part with nemesis gave me chills down my spine
8:40 ah yes, my favorite enemy.
A excuse to waste everything on it to only get bombs as a reward for killing it
I mean the game literally says that when you see it you should JUST RUN
Every time I hear *there be bugs hidin in the ceiling*
I just get a small feeling of happiness and laughter. It's my favorite bit.
This game seriously doesn't get even close to enough exposure,Definition of underrated
4:17 me remembering that tunnel on how to train your dragon:....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
About shield disruption… you actually have 2 perks to heal you
3:27 "WHERE'S MOLLY GONE?!" I felt that. I felt that *hard*
Ah yes finally Deep Rock Galactic guides in proper dwarvish.
Ok that sand shaft flare shot was top tier cinematography. 👌
My first time finding a nemisis i rushed in and wanted to rescue the dwarf but then i saw it and panicked
The rain formerly known as purple
Thank you for using the track in this vid, I absolutely fucking love it
Windette: The Nemesis is absolutely terrifying
Me: Well, yes, perhaps it would be...
Except I'm playing "The-big-man-with-a-big-gun-that-goes BRRRRR"
* Minigun sounds and doom music *
I am not really a masochist, I just find you funny and enjoyable to listen to.
4:17 As a gunner main, where others see a massive swarm of imminent death, I see a target rich environment.
0:50 It's funny how that insects part applies to Deep Rock Galactic and Hollow Knight.
3:50
I like how level Lethal isn't flashy and chaotic. It's just dark, quiet, eerie, and- JESUS CHRIST THATS A LOTTA BUGS!!!
Hazard 1: Minecraft on peaceful
Hazard 2: Starbound
Hazard 3: Terraria
Hazard 4: Dead Space
Hazard 5: GTFO
Funny stuff dude! I always look forward to these hysterical explanations.
It hits different to hear Windette mention all this stuff after having gone through it myself.
This vid was quite worth watching, and I can feel my self esteem entirely unchanged, but it didn’t get any better so that’s good
Editing is fantastic, I love it.
A classic Dwarven experience.
Thank you brother.
Tip for "low o2" modifier levels: remember the resupply pods you can order after collecting enough nytra? Place them in important areas you frequently walk around depending on your mission.
4:13 "Command, as much as I am currently a mile underground, would you mind Napalm Striking my entire tunnel network? Plz n thank yew"
Rain world explained in insults would be fun
And this is why I watch you do it. :)
Great to have you back windy!
glad to be back
