this song has always been a favorite of mine, a song i've held close when i was much younger to help me express some of the pain couldn't describe yet. your version does it more than justice and brought me to a teary mess listening. i think now, more than ever, i really relate to some of the pain this song's talking about. becoming an adult is harsh. i want to go back to the life i've had before, but time waits for no one, right?

This gave me chills. Your voice is gorgeous, and this is one of the best versions of Rinne/Lynne I’ve ever heard. I really felt your emotion, especially in certain parts. Also, I’m so sorry for your loss. I know from your community post that your grandpa was super important to you, so it’s sad that he’s gone. It’s funny how doing the things you love cheers you up more from loss, stress, or emotional pain than just “relaxing/taking a break”. I actually found that to be true for me, too; playing video games, tabletop role playing, writing, and drawing all help me, even when I feel like I don’t have the energy to do those things. Do whatever helps you feel better, whether that be taking a break or singing your heart out!
I love love love the way the lyrics flow and sound. I've always loved your lyricwork and this is an instance where it really lets you integrate your voice into the song well. You always execute the lyrics really well; even if they look long or tricky for the rhythm of the song, you pull them off gracefully. Each cover only gets better and better. If you think there's significant imperfections in this, I sure can't feel them. I'm glad you find fulfillment in your work and realized that it makes you happy. When hard times come it can be difficult to straddle the line between rest and exerting the energy for what makes you happy. Keep singing and writing however you feel fit. Yet another gorgeous cover, I swear you have the voice of an angel! This song brings back memories lol, I remember hearing a different English cover of it back in high school I believe. Definitely this song should have a trigger warning for self-harm (and possibly suicide?) I'm gonna go ahead and put a trigger warning on my comment before I go any further. TRIGGER WARNING: So I think this song might be about a schoolgirl (based on the image) who cuts and eventually commits suicide by throwing herself onto the train track. However she train doesn't kill her right away and as she bleeds out she hallucinates/has an out-of-body experience (whichever explanation you prefer) about a black goat and a cat warning her, telling her to turn back. She finds herself walking along a seemingly endless train track, wishing the pain of her previous life (and possibly the physical pain as well) would end. She feels like she is in an endless loop, an endless cycle of suffering, and she wishes to be reborn. At the end, it sounds like she dies and is either reincarnated or... idk actually. It's a little vague what happens actually. Of course, this is only my interpretation, feel free to add to it or disagree!
I hope things get better on your end- I applaud you for using your emotional turmoil and channeling it into your singing, that's truly an art, and a great way to recover from harsh feelings. Yet another gorgeous cover, I swear you have the voice of an angel! This song brings back memories lol, I remember hearing a different English cover of it back in high school I believe. Definitely this song should have a trigger warning for self-harm (and possibly suicide?) I'm gonna go ahead and put a trigger warning on my comment before I go any further.
TRIGGER WARNING:
So I think this song might be about a schoolgirl (based on the image) who cuts and eventually commits suicide by throwing herself onto the train track. However she train doesn't kill her right away and as she bleeds out she hallucinates/has an out-of-body experience (whichever explanation you prefer) about a black goat and a cat warning her, telling her to turn back. She finds herself walking along a seemingly endless train track, wishing the pain of her previous life (and possibly the physical pain as well) would end. She feels like she is in an endless loop, an endless cycle of suffering, and she wishes to be reborn. At the end, it sounds like she dies and is either reincarnated or... idk actually. It's a little vague what happens actually. Of course, this is only my interpretation, feel free to add to it or disagree!
