I can't get over how real it is for these actors, they're so attached to their characters, it's truly incredible.

+Ed Potts That's what makes the performances so real. What's your standout memory from the film or the series Ed?

@@WarpFilmsUK for me it was realising combo wasnt a true racist he was just projecting the rejection he felt and unfortunately milky was the one that got it, combos character was very conflicted within himself,

aw, Joe getting emotional about that hospital scene, still. It really left a mark on him. All my top 3 moments were mentioned but that hospital scene when Lol finally tells Woody about what happened in 86 is truly something else.

This is the greatest show I have ever seen in my life. Writing and directing and acting, superb.

I've just spent the weekend watching TIE 86 - 90. I completely missed the boat on that one but am so glad I've caught up now.
What a marvel. The writing. The casting. The acting. The directing. Exquisite work! So grateful for the contribution of all parties involved.
I only hope that I can write something as powerful one day.
Definitely one of the most emotive, thought-provoking yet funny pieces of work I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.
To see how affected the actors were and still are just makes my appreciation of the series even more deep.
    Well done!

When Joseph started to say "in the hospital..." And couldn't go on, I wanted to say "It's okay buddy you don't have to say it, we know exactly what you're talking about and we feel it too."

It's crazy how fast time goes by, that show helped me thru alot being 22 now in 2018, like wow man it makes me teary eyed how emotional they got, my mom showed me that movie when I was in 6th grade, and I got attached to the show when I found it for myself

This is England '00 is on its way. Shane's got the story but hasn't written the scripts yet. It will be set at the turn of the millennium.

    Brilliant series.
    Brilliant acting.
Each character has their own unique persona and it resonates with all of us growing up in the 80s and 90s. Not many shows achieve that same goal. 👌👌👌♥️♥️♥️

3:30 in....that's real!!! When it gets the actors it gets us watching it too. Brilliant. Spot on man. Ste Graham was in Gangs of New York but never talked that up the way he did on this. Its that good. Sorry Scorcese. Lol.

      Me too.
I've told anyone who'll listen, most don't want to spend the time on it, and I understand that. The film is so different from the series it probably puts people off. The whole Combo character arc and the stuff with LoL and her Dad, and especially her scenes with the nurse, are for me the best TV has ever been. It was harrowing but beautiful. Even Woody's depression when he was with the wrong woman was outstanding.

Winter '90 certainly felt like it was a tying up of all the story lines and loose ends and that it was the grand finale. I hope not though. It was of course magnificent, a real tour de force ... but I feel there's still plenty scope left to continue to develop characters and story trajectories. Keeping my fingers crossed for more.

Ste Graham is boss. Local lad & no one could ever accuse him of being racist as he is mixed race himself. I got a cousin by the same name. Random fact. All the guys in England are boss actors though. I remember Milky in "A room for Romeo Brass" also by Shane. Paddy Considine was also in it. Dead mans shoes was fucking boss!! Genius. Great soundtrack too. Its good that Shane is getting some recognition. Good on yer. ;) Sterling...as Woody would say lad. ;) He needs to keep this series going...... More Shane lad.
