Hi. By upgrading them yourself you can choose the quality as opposed to being stuck with whats included - not always the highest quality components and of course you can do a bit at a time or pick how high a spec suits you.
Hi Steven. The best option is to tear the tank down and spray al the metal parts with primer, then the colour of your choice and reassemble when dry. Hopefully we will have a Sherman Firefly build coming in the new year and will try to document the whole process!
Do you have a video on how these are upgraded? I been looking on youtube and couldnt find any videos on step by step removals of the tracks and sprockets.
Hi. We have a basic over view upgrading a tiger but not a step by step. Stay tuned and as soon as we can lay out hands on a new tank we will make a step by step upgrade video for you - just don't hold your breath:-)

Great video. With all the metal upgrades, I wonder if the HL is still more cost effective than let's say a Taigen.

the idler wheel isn't turning

Many thanks, the idler was a smidge to tight, all sorted now.
@@ModelMarvels my heng long sherman came like that, the screws on the port side idler were too tight too
