1. Conform
2. Life of Hate
would you guess these songs were from the early 80's if you didn't know?
From the early 80´s? sounds recent
@@palestinalibre3459 a lot of groups are called "ahead of their time", but they actually were.
Lol,right..crazy shit
@@palestinalibre3459 ua-cam.com/video/BqYJeDGPHuM/v-deo.html
@@nicolassergeretavaressousa6190 Thanks for the information. in the 80s black and thrash metal began, venom, metallica and slayer were an apple pie by his side. they sound brutal for their time
Let's be real, they are the first grindcore band ever. Fight me.
Oh dude, absolutely.. They were the first powerviolence, grindcore, and thrashcore band ever.
Agreed...
They're not because they lack the extreme metal component necessary to be grind
@@PuertoRicanGrinderX ????? Extreme metal component? When grindcore was invented There was no such thing as extreme metal. Grindcore evolved from hardcore music, the shitty grindcore bands such as napalm death incorporated death metal later on and just forgot they were a grindcore band altogether. Same shit with black metal, after 1993 black metal is absolute garbage..utter garbage.
@@pressureflipin1992 shut the fuck up lol
Siege keeping it real for us oldies who can remember them from the early days .
The band that started it all. Without them grindcore/powerviolence/mince/gore/etc wouldn’t exist
What about infest?
@@noneofyourbusiness1114 Siege came before. But Infest is probably my favorite band of all time.
At the very least, this Is influencial even in Extreme metal
discharge started
.......
OG Powerviolence Gods! RIP Kevin and Seth
@G J yeah mate I know. And like I said fuck seth he had nothing to do with the original siege.
@G J the "key word" here is "original". The incarnation of siege with him in the band sucked.
@G J I enjoy pretty much all incarnations of Napalm death! You're right buddy to each their own have a good night
@G J just finished work. Second point of guiness just opened. Cheers!
@G J Wrong!! Kurt the guitarist playing the BC Rich is original. He wrote almost all of the music with Rob.
1:50 probably the best hardcore breakdown ever ...
Punk as f..k 👍
The original gods.
Late cold war era hardcore! Nevermind Napalm Death, these guys are the real godfathers!
*Grindcore
@@marcoabreo6506 you're right, but I'm sure they didn't consider themselves a grindcore band back in the 80s
@@xnervex6387 proto-grindcore
@@xnervex6387 yes, Boston Hardcore to the fullest
@@marcoabreo6506 This was hardcore that was played extremely fast. Certainly influenced Grindcore, but this is not grindcore.
I'm happy to say i was born in this town.
Im sad to say i moved to the us when i was a kid
Is there a vid of the whole set??
Sick, please upload the full set!
It's not Siege without Hank and Kevin/Seth
SIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGE!!!!
Legends
Wow! They're still together/playing?! Would love to see them live! First got my face blown off by Seige on the Cleanse The Bacteria compilation, which I still have.
While I'm not that familiar with this stuff, if you like this, check out a band called Extortion from Australia. I'm in no way affiliated with them, I just enjoy what they do. I do need to listen to more of this stuff though.. pretty damn intense!
Check out the historical significance of Siege
Extortion are cool Perth dudes. I bet ask any of their influences and Siege gets mentioned.
I’ve heard their stuff definitely underrated
@@NorthCascades! they are my favorite band.
Yes, you do! Listen to the original recordings.. Drop Dead. There's more out there but I don't know the availability. 2 songs they recorded for a Pushead compilation called Cleanse the Bacteria, and they also had Seth Putnam from AC on vocals for a very short time, but I don't think it was ever released.
The irony of the lyrics to Conform being played out by everyone in the crowd seems to be lost on everyone.... this is a sad reunion/tribute band.....
Sometimes attributed as the fathers of power violence, but couldn't care less.
I love that I love them!
I love that you love that you love them
Power violence, yeah!
Jeez pretty weak pit for a band like Siege. I would go apeshit moshing to this shit.
the song that i taught they'd never play in public. BEAUTIFUL CHAOS!! \m/
Grim reaper
Great song
I think this band along with the band Doom really laid the foundation for grind.
SO GOOD!
Guitar player still rockin on that ugly shaped BC Rich as in their video from 1984
Different guitar
@@johntucci8826 same ugliness
No way, beautiful guitar! Had same exact one he's playing now.. eye of the beholder!
@@johntucci8826 Jedem das Seine
Love this!!
Why no full set??? Was wicked 🤘
Não existe nada melhor que isso.
full setlist pls, line up pls, full 90min show pls😘
i think this "singer" is from band out cold
No, unfortunately the singer from Out Cold is dead. Mark is from Proclamation, You're Fired, Oblivionation and some other Massachusetts bands.
@@bradburyfletcher8202 i didnt mean original singer,i think this guy "sings" on last out cold album
@@dojajaje No, but it would have been an honor.
Salutes Mark from Greece!!!
That was so epic!
C'mon Robert WIlliams and stomp the shit out of those pedals!!!! why the hell are you playin' it so damn slow
So glad they played there also if anyone dislikes this your fired
Is Calder your real name?
Why yes it is
@@marcoabreo6506 yup
@@calderbrezina3645 where you from? Never heard that name before today m8
Hawaii man you @marco abreo
who's the bassist name?
Chris Leamy 👍
I really hope these guys'll come to Atlanta soon
Where's Hank????
The first song on the video is "Drop Dead." yes?
Conform
the dudes have been a solid show for like 30 years holy shit
Fucking classic
❤️
Brush that stage so it's all nice and neat
WOAAOOWWW MANTAP!!!!
The Walking Dead
yeah
Gut
I NEED TO KNOW what the lyrics are at the 1:57 - 2:03
The lyrics posted online are missing this verse
"Conform! Conform! Do as to the norm! Proper dress required, or you won't be hired."
@@markfields966 Hey, Mark! Fancy seeing you here! Already got 'em from somebody else, but thanks!
@@markfields966 Thanks for posting this! If you can, can you comment the lyrics to all the songs on Lost Session '91? They weren't included in the re-release of all the Siege stuff that F.O.A.D released.
@@markfields966 There was another song with Seth that was only played live called "Read, Learn, Know". I read in an interview with Seth that one of the lines in that song got changed to "fight the power with your mind".
@@gavin6666 I don't have lyrics to "Death and Taxes" or "New World Order" ("NWO" has reverted to its original "Pentagon" lyrics, as recorded by Nightstick). "Read, Learn, Know" is the chorus to the other song by the same name, but I don't have the lyrics to that song, either. I can verify that the lyric you mentioned did get committed that way to the recording that exists.
"Cameras": Cameras in the workplace, cameras in the streets! (repeat)
"Disregard": Disregard a thousand bought, disregard a thousand sold, disregard a thousand starved, disregard a thousand dead! (repeats w/million, then billion)
Hope this helps!
I love this. Only just discovered them from watching that Slave to the Grind documentary. My favourite album ever is Jane Doe by Converge and I can visualize a young Jacob Bannon listening to this in his room.
Grandpa
Nothin' wrong with being old sunshine
Who is the vocalist's name?
Mark Fields
COVER BAND!
You are not wrong
Not far from the truth, but still an enjoyable gig though
What a great Saturday
grunge grind
Huh
Godfathers of grind
This is just hardcore can't you see played very quickly
nah fuck all these weird genre names, its just really fast hardcore.
Said it best
