I passed my driving license last week and I was asked to do forward bay parking. I did it like a champion. This video was my saviour.Reference point in the car did not work, nothing else worked except this technique. Thank you for posting it
I was taught when reversing not to turn straight away especially if cars are parked next to you. Wait until the back of the is out of the bay a bit then turn.
I just passed my test today at mill hill, in my first attempt. With no instructor at all, all I did was watch your UA-cam videos. Although i have been driving in the UK for an year on my international licence, but for the driving test your videos were really useful. Much appreciated, Thank you.
@@ZONDOdriving From what i felt it was all about how safe your driving is. I got a few minors, all for use of mirrors. I cant stress the importance of mirrors enough, use them before u signal, before u turn and after you've made the turn.
Hi, I have 2 questions here: 1) When reversing back for readjusting, are you allowed to line up in such a way that the parking bay is 90 degree straight in front of you? That way I can just go straight ahead and park without steering at all. Would that be a problem? 2) Is there any set limit on the distance I can reverse back for readjusting? For example, if there is another bay behind me but it's empty, can I run over that space?
Hi Asif. 1) Yes that is allowed. 2) As long as there is no other car or objects, you can use the space available to you. If in doubt, you can always ask the examiner and they will usually help.
I wish I can message you privately . I messaged you for an automatic lesson (he doesn’t offer. Automatic). You promised me someone really good to help me. I want to say thank you soo much you gave me the best instructor! I passed first time with 1 minor 🎉
@@ZONDOdriving Hi! Sadly I failed, but I failed with 1 serious and zero minors so overall I’m kinda happy and I’ll use this as a learning opportunity so I can definitely get it next time! It was a serious fault at observation / judgement I think at a mini roundabout next to another mini roundabout and it was very busy, sadly this happened in the first 5 minutes where the examiner had to brake! I knew I failed and I was rlly bummed but I decided to just do my best and I still had fun and it was a really nice test route, I also did some parking manoeuvres next to parked cars for the first time it went smoothly, getting tests are hard but there’s devious ways 😈 anyways thanks for all your videos and I will pass next time!
@@MohidPvE Unlucky on your test and thank you for sharing that. I'm glad you carried on. It shows you what your strengths and weaknesses are and as you saw, you did really well which means you can do well next time too. All the best on your next one!
When you're reversing out are you allowed to reverse backwards with the wheel straight until like half of the car is out then turn the wheel and steer it in the directions you want to reverse into? just as you would if two cars were in between you
Hi Mark, I’ve looked at several videos for a couple of hours & yours are the easiest to understand, thank you. I drive down a back lane with house yard gates either side (like colliery rows of houses) & reversing is tricky as vehicles park randomly. Have you any tips/videos for this type to easier reverse into my yard please?
Thank you so much I appreciate your feedback. I’m going to do a video on this very soon because a few people have requested it now. Keep a lookout as I will be uploading it soon. 😁
Thanks so much. I really appreciate your response. I’ve managed reversing into my yard gates area successfully so far but know it could be better. Cars in the back lane are frequently blocking my way and make parking unnecessarily tedious.@@ZONDOdriving
I'm confused. This video says to align my side mirror with the mirror of my target parking bay. Another video said to align my side mirrors with the centre of the parking immediately before my target parking bay. Which one is it?
Nice. But bit confused. If will show marked parking box and reference unit finsh. More more understand. Cos we are begginer sometimes confused. If will do like show different colour main box ( X ) mark and reference ( tike ) mark other colour marks more more understand. Any things will do more easily for beginners. I am not talking everyone. Some people understand but bit mix up confused like me. That why Or if will drawing paper or board before show any menovers more more understand with small toy car

I'm watching all your videos only to virtually feel driving the Fiesta... What a car!
Hi i passed my test 1st time today in mill hill with 2 minors watching your vedios are really really helpful thanks alot❤️
Hey. 2 minors is a really good score! Congrats and thank you for watching the videos! 🫶🏾

Correction...
Its 180degrees
Should I keep my foot on the brake while doing maneuvers and slightly keep lifting ?? I'm doing automatic lessons
Yes, because in most Automatic cars, the car is always trying to move.
Thank you for the videos so helpful 😊

@@ZONDOdriving Booked a second test, it was yesterday and I passed my driving test finally full license :))
So simple ! Thank you! My test is in a few days if they ask me this manoeuvre I will defo be using this method
Thank you. Would love to know how it goes.
Very simply explained ❤
How does it not matter! If there was a car there you would have hit it!
Yup 😅
What is "it"?
Are you allowed to open door and check your position in the bay? Would that be a minor fault?
Yes you're allowed. You're even allowed to get out of the car and check. You will not get a fault for this.
I try to control the clutch but it ends up going too fast - any tips on parking? I end up stalling or completely missing the lines
I will do a specific video on how to control the speed when parking. Uploading soo.
When you're reversing out are you allowed to reverse backwards with the wheel straight until like half of the car is out then turn the wheel and steer it in the directions you want to reverse into? just as you would if two cars were in between you
Definitely. Just make sure there is enough space to do that.
Can I adjust my side mirrors before my maneuver ?
Definitely
when are you going to do the revere two length of the car video ?
Uploading soon 😁

I'm confused. This video says to align my side mirror with the mirror of my target parking bay. Another video said to align my side mirrors with the centre of the parking immediately before my target parking bay. Which one is it?
Forward bay reference point I need to take Mirror reference or steering reference?
Mirror reference on ur right or left
Thanks
Very simple and imfomative
Thank you 🤩
Because I’m a tall guy I wait till the mirror is line with the front bay line
Nice content
If you reverse isn't it a fail ?
Nah you’re allowed to, and supposed to make adjustments nobody can do it perfectly, imagine if you couldn’t adjust
Just remember any parking you are allowed to make adjustments and it’s important you do
You’re allowed to buy you’ll get a minor fault for the correction.
Are you allowed to readjust like this in a test?
Yes you are but you will get a minor fault.
