Appo47 don't worry, in this video it is explained that the current that flows through the civil circuits is dangerous but the current that flows inside electronic devices is not too dangerous for us. So you can do your hobby

These "statistics" are - somehow - like some Scientific News: "Craters in the Moon have a slope of 32 degrees". Really? All I perceive - trough Contractors is that "It is not up to Code", but seldom any of them provides - while actually doing any repair - copies or data FROM the Electrical Code. For instance, GFCIs and AFCIs; they never submit to your reading, understanding and/or evaluation, quotes o the Code concerning these, which have a subjective - not objective - "interpretation". Another one: Inspector's fees and actual visitation is only perfunctory. You pay for it, the Inspector does not come: he trusts the Contractor. Really? Why do we have to pay, then? In my opinion, ESA has turned into a Religion, with a Holy Book - the Code - its Acolytes - the Inspectors - and its Ten Commandments: The Holy Code. The intention might have been noble; its actual practice, a burocratic nightmare, empowering people with little knowledge of electricity, but well documented one in the Code. All for a $120.00 fee. We replaced knowledge with certification. Bad.
