When I moved from the UK to the US, I ordered a Sausage Roll from a pizzeria in NYC. I was disappointed that it wasn’t a sausage roll, but it’s still pretty delicious.
@@billtooke6642 One dough is enriched pastry, one is pizza dough. One is folded, one is rolled. One has sauce, the other does not. One has Italian sausage, the other a breakfast type sausage. They’re completely different. My family emigrated from Italy and they’d never confuse the two. But to each his own I guess

Nice one fella, when I do sausage rolls I also stretch out some smoked dry cured streaky bacon to wrap around the sausage meat. 👍
