I had a listing that became a best seller - almost like the listing "went viral". I have no idea why, as I only put up a couple of pictures. I actually intended to sell out of the stock I had and be done with it. This listing got so many views - I believe because a lot of people are search for this specific type of item, which I had not realized was so popular. I added more variations to that one listing so that I could get more visibility for other sizes, colors, and styles of this kind of item. This listing regularly says "20 people have this in their cart" and gets about 1K or more views per month. The annoying thing about variations is that Etsy doesn't notify you when you sell out of a variation.
What if you had text on the blue pillow picture that says "many colors available!" or something to that effect - do you think that might help? I tend to not make all the variations I offer for pictures because of cost
That's a great idea, too, Nick! You could also have an image with the colour samples you have available (like a swatch card). Might work nicely, too ❣️ - L
Thank you for this. Deb, if you are happy to improve your English pronunciation, here are some tips: - variation is pronounced: very-A-shin (rather than vaary-a-shin) - category is pronounced: CAT-igg-or-ee or CAT-igg-ree (not cat-IGG-irree) - dot (which you mentioned in a different video) is pronounced dott. Example: dott co, not datt co ;) - way less important: pillow is pronounced PILL-o (not PEE-lo) - the latter of course is from your French accent. :) Thank you again for your super helpful videos!
Hope you enjoyed the video! Which one of these tips will you try working on first? Tell us in the comments below 👇
Thank you for the great advices. I'm going to check the other link too.🙌😊 👍
You are so welcome, Ivy! Enjoy 😉 - L

Hi there! Thanks for the comment. I am doing my best with what is not my first language ☺️ I am afraid the accent is staying! 😅
