Why does everyone hate generation 5... I thought it was one of the best since they kept the focus on pokemon, which I actually thought were creative and yet gave it a new feeling as well as adding a deep story. I love all gens, but even though I started on gen 1, gen 5 stood out the most... and to those who said it was cheaply remake of the first gen... didn't realize it wad meant to based of the first gen so that new fans can have a similar feeling you did when you played blue and red. Well gen 6 was supposed to calm down whiny older fans who was afraid that they forgot older generations when they never indicated that they did. But luckily they added references to other generations showing that they cared about all generations. But they did come up with fire red and leaf green as the remake. X and Y were still on its own pretty well with story and characters.

I think... Kanto: Best pokemon. Will live in our hearts forever Johto: Coolest gameplay. Gen II or Gen IV Hoenn: Coolest legendary pokemon. Sinnoh: Best starters. And most number of legendary pokemon? Unova: Best storyline. I don't like the Gen V pokemon tho. Kalos: Haven't played yet. We'll see...
It just makes me sad that not everyone can like every gen, the only thing a few people does is ''I HATTE NEEW GENZ VEKAUZE THEY AREMT AS GUD AZ THE OTHHER GENZ AND THE NEW POQUENOM ARE ZHIT, GEN 123 FTW!111!!!!1!'' They only criticize new gens because they are new and they don't even give them an oportunity. They criticize graphics, the Pokémons, the antagonists, or everything that was made to make the new Pokémon games different, special, entertaining and funny for US. But at least there are a lot of people that respect all the gens, I don't want anyone to like everygen, but I want everyone to see that every Pokémon game has it's own essence because if it weren't that way, it would be like playing the same game over and over again. So please everyone, don't look at the bad things of the new gens, try to look at the GOOD things because new gens weren't mean to be worst than previous gens, but to be a new adventure and a new story full of discoveries. All the old, existing, and future Pokémon gens will always be the best.

I love how each theme takes inspiration from the gym leader remixes in black and white 2. A really good touch that adds a uniqueness to each of them ;)

I always go for fire types in everygame except when I played Y, which I chose Squirtle to balance out Fennekin's weakness.

It just makes me sad that not everyone can like every gen, the only thing a few people does is ''I HATTE NEEW GENZ VEKAUZE THEY AREMT AS GUD AZ THE OTHHER GENZ AND THE NEW POQUENOM ARE ZHIT, GEN 123 FTW!111!!!!1!''
They only criticize new gens because they are new and they don't even give them an oportunity. They criticize graphics, the Pokémons, the antagonists, or everything that was made to make the new Pokémon games different, special, entertaining and funny for US. But at least there are a lot of people that respect all the gens, I don't want anyone to like everygen, but I want everyone to see that every Pokémon game has it's own essence because if it weren't that way, it would be like playing the same game over and over again. So please everyone, don't look at the bad things of the new gens, try to look at the GOOD things because new gens weren't mean to be worst than previous gens, but to be a new adventure and a new story full of discoveries.
All the old, existing, and future Pokémon gens will always be the best.
Things I like about Gens 4-6 (All my games fell in this range)
(4 Platinum: My first game c: also my level 100 Infernape I still have in Y
(4 Heartgold: Pokegear, Pokeathlon, and Pokémon walk with you :D
(5 White: C-gear... uh... maybe white forest and the storyline?
(6 Y: 3-flippin-D, Pokémon-amie, Super training, clothing, being closer to Pokémon than ever, Mewtwo, a bunch of shiny legendries I got in a trade, mega evolution, my Charizard......

One of my personal Pokemon rules is that I need one fire-type starter in my team from the game I'm currently playing, i.e. I started with piplup for Platinum, but traded my monferno over from Diamond so I could have a fire type. I usually end up with 2 starters because I like other starters as well.
