Man, Julia Garner really hit the nail on the head with the weird accent. She’s much less self assured here than I imagine she once was when she was ruthlessly scamming people.
Well now in the beginning of this video I didn't understand anything that came out of but I think the actress that played her added a little bit extra because on the show she has a lot of German accent and here I hear more Russian than German I also hear more American with Russian infused and I don't really hear too much German on the show she's almost German lol

@@leofrasier6716The real Anna moved to Germany as a teenager i think. I heard a vid of her speaking german, she has an accent, nowhere fluent. So her actual native language must be russian. So thats why her accent here is more American with russian infused than anything else.

Did you notice how much her voice changed from the beginning bit where she didn't think she was being filmed, and then it got much lighter and "cuter" when she knew she was on film? And how she ends every sentence with a little laugh and crinkling up her face, in an attempt to be cute? Sickening. If there is any value in this interview, it's in seeing her switch "on and off" in the way she would manipulate people. I'm an empath, and her energy is very pathological.

I am honestly confused if I am impressed or angry. We need some actual investigative journalism on this case, we need to understand how a criminal visa overstayer is able to reside in the US, earn money and pay taxes and so on.
What kind of lease did she sign? how are her electricity and telephone and TV bills being paid? Is someone covering for her, picking up the tab? How did a convicted fraudster pass the usual background checks that people must pass when applying to rent a place to live? Her rent is over 4,000 dollars a month, but how is it being paid? who actually signed her lease, her?
I read her house arrest conditions specified no "direct or third party social media posting", so again, what's *actually* going on here with this _Variety_ UA-cam post? Her attorney Duncan Levin, is it seems enabling her to earn money, apparently planning to "co star" on a "new show", this itself sounds like a scam, an expert immigration attorney assisting a convicted illegal alien to violate the terms of her house arrest so she can earn money to then pay him attractive fees for services rendered.
This strikes me as unethical, a possible conflict of interest. Her attorney defending her immigration efforts being paid by her from earnings generated from her working when she has no legal right to work, I mean that's a real story right there.

I think she's under house arrest for overstaying her visa? You'd have to look it up but I think I read that somewhere. I do agree though, especially if that is true - everyone else would be deported and she's at home.
From a non-American perspective, it does bring a bad light to your country and I am so appalled by most of the comments I read agreeing with her behaviour and the media outlets promoting her. It's outrageous. In most countries, she would have gotten kicked out in a heartbeat. In Russia or Germany, she would've gotten an extremely longer sentence for what she's done. Especially since she doesn't seem remorseful at all.
