Really is mate, rode both of them twice (and another trail too, just as long). Probably my favourite days riding of the trip, despite it being the last day (so we were off the hills by 2:30) as everything we rode was just amazing.
Many years ago (2011?), Twelve and I rode 911 in it's entirety without stopping, to see how close to 9 minutes and 11 seconds we could get (that's what it's named after, the quickest recorded time down it). We were absolutely hanging by the bottom, the arm pump through the bottom gulley was just horrendous, and we vowed to never attempt it in one again. Even Michael says that there's no point in even trying to because you don't get to enjoy it to it's full extent. For the record, I think we managed to do it in about 10 minutes 👍
Apparently the fastest time is not just below 8 minutes 😮 Probably Reuben (the guide); he races enduro and is one hell of a skilled rider. Watching him ride was an education in how it should be done 👍
The best, mate. Going out to Spain again in September, to Bubion rather than Malaga though. I may just ask if we can ride 911 on the last day, on the way to the airport 😂
The sections at 9:50 don't do justice on film. You need to memorize the right lines to go through haha. This things are even more sketchy when it's super dry. 11:21 is also sketchy and feels like a gamble clearing it. Love these trails
You’re spot on, the camera really tames these trails compared to what you face in reality, such amazing trails though and we were lucky that it had chucked it down. We rode 911 three times over the holiday, this was the only time it was wet and was the best by far. Still my favourite trail ever!
You should definitely put it on the list mate, 5 days of uplifted sunny riding on incredible trails when the weather and trails at home are a sloppy cold wet mess
Wow, they both incredible! And very long 👀 Was the second trail called leftism? If it is someone has some very good taste in music! The views in the background were stunning at times! Can't get over how long they were! Loving the new category of roots, a pipe type root 🤣
Yep, Leftism; one hell of a technical trail, the view down the valley and over the Med is really distracting, you need to try and ignore it 😂 Did the pipe type root line later in the day; it was fine 👍
I've been to Spain a lot in the last 17 years, it's rained (at least a little bit) on at least half of my visits. 911 really is my favourite trail ever; it's a thing of beauty
Simply stunning! Not much else I can add 👍

Very cool mate! I'm so looking forward to going to Spain in May!
Thanks mate. Back out there in September but up at Bubion in the Sierra Nevadas 👍
Wet noodles 😂😂😂 sounds about right with all that tech! Great stuff mate

@@Stopadoodledoo Jesus, I can't even imagine doing that in 1! 😬
@@MTB_Trekker we were younger and fitter then but mainly, it was the challenge.
We only did it the once 😂

Brilliant trails for sure👌

Ace looking trails, you know it’s crazy when ‘You’ say Jesus Christ 🤣 great video mate 👍🏻
Honestly mate, the camera really doesn't do some of those techy sections justice 😃

Wet, loose and fast! Terrifying haha
Such an awesome trail (well, both of them). Really is so much grip when it's wet, until there isn't (any roots at all) 😂
