The trunk button is on the right side in the license plate area. It's just a little lower. The v6 gives more than enough power while it can still drive very comfortably for those who want a luxurious vehicle. My Lincoln touch is by far the easiest system to use.
Great Review. I just got mine this past Saturday after almost 7 years of non breakable 2008 Kia sedona. The 2015 KMZ Hybrid is exceptional. I am still on the process of learning all the car's functions and gadgets it brings. The fuel consumption, since I got the car 0 mileages I haven't experience it that much, I noticed that it's been going from 17 MPG (Mileages Per Gallon) to now 35 city and highway. I learned that these numbers should go up as I drive more the car because the car learns how I drive, and adjust the computers to my way of driving to save fuel. The ride is excellent and very quiet, even when the gas engine is running. The outside style is futuristic and the interior is outstanding. I most say that this is the most comfortable car I had. I hope I can enjoy it for many more years .
THE 2014 MKZH THAT I HAVE HAD FOR ONE YEAR GETS 43.6 AVERAGE MPG. ON ETHENAL FREE GAS, IF YOU DON'T HOT ROD IT. I DRIVE AROUND THE SPEED LIMIT, ALTHOUGH ONE DAY ON THE INTERSTATE I FOUND THAT IT WAS GOING 90 JUST CRUSING ALONG, I QUICKLEY SLOWED TO THE LIMIT. THE ENGINE CAN BE RATHER BUZZY IF YOU ARE ON THE GAS, THOUGH IT IS VERY QUIET WHEN JUST CRUSING ALONG. IT IS A NICE CAR TO DRIVE.
Lol as soon as he said there is no truck button I paused and went straight to the comments. I was like, these youtube nazis are going to eat him alive.
WE bought one , its different than our 08' MKZ- V6.. but Pretty.. FYI- Since we are retired? and Fly long Distances? We got the Hybrid Modle instead.. we only ave 20 mph and per tank in our Old car .. and the V6 was not used hardly at all..
Why does every review start off with that "oh those cars used to be such old people's cars" spiel. Get over it folks and quit quoting some 15 year old's silly opinion. Once past that, you did quite well with the overall review. Thanks for that.
I'm starting to like the MKZ. You either like it of think it's ugly. I just get tried of seeing the same cars on the road. A lot of people say that let's you know that means they are good cars. But that is not always true. I've had so many co-workers, neighbors, and church members tell me how wonderful their Benz, Audi, BMW...etc, is but every time I turn around someone's car is in the shop. Don't get me wrong some are great but others are just a name. All of that being said. Lincoln is something different to look at. I love Cadillac but even they are starting to look like the other competitors. I even miss Saab's that was something that had its own identity. The only other luxury car I would say is Volvo. I like the new Lincoln MKC. That is the only crossover that I seem to like lately back in the day if was the Infiniti FX but I don't see or hear much about those much anymore
Volvo C30 lovely little hatchy. Unique and beautiful back window. Love it. Love Saaabs also especially the old 900. Love Citroens and all odd looking cars....V
Is the Lincoln MKZ nearly as good as a BMW 3 series or Mercedes C Class in terms of interior quality, fit and finish, refinement, interior cabin noise(let alone the CVT drone),ride quality(is it flat or stiff ride or pillowy ride ),legroom etc etc Nice review and I really adore the looks of this car but how about the above mentioned qualities compared to Germans like BMW,Merc etc, is it atleast 50% as good as the Germans
jandj, yes it is at least 50% as good as the Germans. Unfortunately, I only had the car for a day so I really didn't have a whole lot of time to do a more thorough review, it was more of a first drive impression. I would have liked to drive the gas version because as I said, the Hybrid drives like most hybrids e.g. Prius - yawn...boring. The drive isn't close to that of a 3 series. Thank-you for your comment. Cheers
Hello yes there is a button to release the trunk it is next to the third break light . you should probably get to know the car before you start doing reviews on something that you know nothing about. Just saying....

There is a button above the tag that releases the trunk.
Are you sure Walter? We had 3 different people drive it and no one could find an exterior latch. Perhaps it's blended in so well we missed it.
Everyday Reviews Canada BTW, the dark round area above the tag is the rearview camera.
I stand corrected. Apparently the button for the trunk release is just above the licence plate area and is well hidden. Thanks Walter.
Yes I am very sure. I have driven many and each of Ford and Lincoln Vehicles have the release button. It is in a hidden place but it is above the Tag.
You are very welcome
showing the advantages n the disadvantages of the car. love this review

How has your MKZ mpg been? Has it declined over the years?

They should have used a V6 for the hybrid - it's supposed to be a premium vehicle. I wonder if you can tune the 4 cylinder.
Great review.
