If this happens to you, just embrace it. Cash out your sick time and look for other jobs. Check to see which PTO doesn't pay out when you leave and use it if you can. Put in the minimum effort and take as many bathroom breaks as you can. If you don't care about unemployment or any of your PTO, just stop showing up the moment you get a new job. Because if they're doing any of this, they're not gonna rehire you anyway. Always remember, this ish is a two-way street.
I was a grocery manager for Fred Meyer (Kroger) for three years and it was literally the worst job I ever had. I didn't see my kids for the first six months of their lives because I worked 10am-2am just to keep my department running. The workers went on strike and got a pay bump just below my hourly pay. They told me "we'll raise your pay come next year depending on how we'll you do". I went to work cashing out my sick and vacation, secretly got letters of recommendation from my managers, and even was approved for two paid months of family leave because my wife was on depression medication 😂 the store manager was pissed, but she didn't care about me anyway.
Yeah this is definitely a warehouse job😂
