Destiny went down the other day on my day off and I was DESTORYED
I hate destiny 2, it's my favorite game.
I remember this build, was very cool to see it again. Although, I still believe a big aircooler would also look awesome sticking out of the 'broken' mesh/grill where now the tubing is coming out. Would also fit the theme very nicely, if you were to use a dark/industrial looking cooler.
My best friend is running exactly that. Not sure what air cooler it is exactly, but it is a dark one with industrial fans on it. Looks dope as hell :D
it doesn't fit destiny 2 at all though,

The only issue there would be hot air getting (mostly) trapped inside of the PC
As a Destiny 2 nut, I have loved this build since the first time Jay did it (even if it is Warlock logo themed - lol - I'm a Hunter & Titan Mains) - it gave me ideas to do to my next/current build. Can't wait to see the next version of this if Jay expands it to a different case.
Love when someone is passionate about something! Would you say that D2 is worth getting into this late in the game (literally) ?

@@ReizokoRyu literally the perfect game if you dont have any others on the go and wanna spend a week immersing yourself in something (watching youtube guides for everything). plus its free to play so you wont lose anything but time
@@ReizokoRyu it is such an impenetrable game. It's like any free MMO, you get in and are just fucking lost in the currencies and activities.
But once you get your head around it (friends that play can help) it can become a great game.
Personally, if you don't have any intrinsic motivation to play I wouldnt do it. But if you do actually want to play? You can go quite deep into it.
My first AIO, the fans had to be installed on top of the case as there wasn't enough enough clearence inside for the the rad with the fans on. I used a christmastree bit and drill out the vent holes and it worked great. I loved how it looked too as the fans had blue leds and it was finished off with fan grills. I'd do it again!
I'm a big fan of destiny 2 and really excited for lightfall, been watching your watercooling guides for a while now, learnt a lot.

@@kaksidaksi3455 well there is PVP as well as PVE and small strikes with 3 players as well as big raids with 6 players, it's a super fun shooter/exploration game with a ton of content, I suppose the point is just to shoot aliens and have fun with friends

I have those same detailing brushes, literally the best, originally got for my car, but find myself using it for EVERYTHING
Love this build. I have a Node 202 for my home theater PC. I like the size and layout but removing the bottom half from the frame is a pain with the number of plastic clips.
among so many customs build, this is one i would LOVE to have as an old school gundam wing variant. Absolutely full of envy everytime you bust this pc out
Ahhh the 202. My first ITX build. Fit a 1070 mini and a 120mm AIO + some extra fans in it.Good temps, decent noise levels. Only thing I didn't like was the footprint on my desk. Really good case though.
Would love to see Phil’s 3090 upgrade if he doesn’t mind bringing in his system. I have a NR200P Max that I’m planning to upgrade to a 3090 ti, so that would be fun to see his upgrade!
I'd love to see how tight of a fit that is in your case. Have a buddy who wants to do a sff build in either that case or the lian li q58 with a 40 series
I don't know if someone pointed that yet, but the schedule problem was solved on Windows 10 after some updates and currently 12 and 13th gen Intel can perform as good as in Windows 11

Hey Jay! Actually Gordon from PCworld recently did an extensive comparison Win10 vs Win11 on Intel on his channel and he record no difference at all. So there's no any strong point to update if you don't want to. Please comment that video from your perspective✌️ So that difference is nothing more then a myth of the past at this point, hopefully 🤞
Underrated comment. I know he doesn't mean anything by it, but telling ppl they need W11 when they dont is just inaccurate.

I think, a case that is personalised to you and your life, something like a 22inch Rim with a nice Tyre on it, water cooling could be like a brake master system or something. Something that reflects your life and personality would be cool to see.
The first time I've thought the dust contributed to the aesthetics of a build.
Also, it's worth mentioning that PC World tested Windows 11 and Windows 10 with 12th Gen... and it doesn't really matter, just go with 10 and it'll be fine.
It's not like a 9900K/2080Ti is slow even today, but this is a nice upgrade and good to see that it can be cooled effectively.
I use a snap on screwdriver my dad won when he was in school for diesel mechanics...things from like the 80's lmao. still holds up better than anything I bought recently
I still firmly believe that the space and portability options gained by going with an SFF build is not worth all the performance left behind without even mentioning the easiness of upgrading the components

Doing my first water cooled custom look and my pump/res is outside the case; would have loved pass throughs because I had to cut the back panel 😅
Ran W10 on my 5.2/4.0 E core setup for a year without issues. Only switch to 11 for the auto HDR for my AW3423DWF. Also my W10 benchmarks crushed pretty much any equivalent system in average fps and 0.1/1% lows.
i have a gtx 1080 in mine with 2 artic fans blowing cool air to it inside the case and for the 99k i have a copper cooling 6 pipe thermaltake with a 25mm noctua fan i still havent turned it on yet and i put round rubber feets higher than the original ones that come with the case thanks to your review in the past of the node202
pc world recently did test w10 vs w11 with 13th gen, no noticeable differences

If you create Steam-Punk level improvisation builds, you might as well finish with matching aesthetics through paintwork and design element add-ons. 😉

I've been wanting to do an external rad build and "seal off" my computer from outside dust.
All the heat is pumped in the water to the rad and fans are only on the outside.
No more pressure monkey bussiness.
Idk if passive heat dissipation from my case would be enought to prevent the RAM, Drives and VRMs from over heating thou.
Maybe an internal rad in the loop to grab that heat with some kind of "internal" air flow.
I wanna go external watercooling mounted to wall with hotplugs eventually for easy maintenaince :)
Pretty sure the IHS of the 12900k is bigger than the coverage area of the H100. Just because the board supports the cooler doesn't mean the cooler should be used for the cpu.

Man, I built my system roughly a year before they originally built this system. Still running, but man does it feel it's age. With prices the way they are (in Canada), it is unlikely to get upgraded before the 1070 just dies 😅

If you slow down the memory speed from XMP you would need to manually tighten the timings. 7th Gen Intel could be a bit temperamental with the fastest DDR4 XMP profiles, solved on 8th Gen.

i figured you would be into changing the stock coolers from amd gpu"s over to water blocks too prove that the cards arent at fault , just the cooling system . but oh well
