I'm Charlotte and I am one of those mums just trying to make it all work, if you know what I mean.
I'm 27, love carbs, rubbish 90's music, Prosecco and baths without finding a bath toy stuck under my bum.
I have a little boy called Bill (born June 2012) and I am pregnant with baby number two who is due in April 2016.
I work full-time (which is bloomin' tiring sometimes). And I also blog and make these videos for fun, because I'm daft like that.
I'm a Channel Mum Pro Vlogger - which is really worth checking out! / channelmum
I was a single mum, just me and Bill. But then I had a bit of a fairytale moment when I met Mark (he's a bit lovely) and things are better than I could have hoped for now. Especially now we're having a little baby of our own.
I know that all mums are different in their own way, but I hope you enjoy seeing snippets of my life, all the same.

My son was born with a cleft lip and palate which wasn't discovered until he was born so I really understand how you feel in this video 💗 so happy you won your fight for your baby. I completely had the same guilt because I was carrying him in my belly so I felt it was all my responsibility but my son is now almost 5 and it is just a part of his beginning but it doesn't define him and us mummy's will do everything necessary for our babies, sending your family love xxx
You are a remarkable woman and an unbelievably special mother. Sweet Bill and Darling little Daisy are an absolute credit to you. Your strength, courage and belief in yourself and your children is inspiring.
But please please PLEASE stop feeling guilty and blaming yourself, literally the only thing that matters when you've been dealt a crappy hand, is how you deal with it...where it came from doesn't matter xxxx
I have a cleft lip and palate and have two children, a 2 year old boy and 4 month baby girl. It is so interesting to hear your story and gives me even more respect for my mummy. I will be going back to alot of your old videos to learn about your experience. It is still not widely known about and I think what you are doing in bringing this to this platform and educating people is amazing. Well done mummy!

I have wanted to be a mother my whole life, ever since I was a little girl, and now the time has finally come where my husband and I are trying and I only hope that I can be as good of mother as you. You should feel so proud of yourself. I can see how much your son looks up to you, and how much he is proud of you and all that you are. Your an amazing mum. I work for a company that provides the feeding tubes and it's so lovely seeing how much it helps people's lives. Daisy is adorable. I have been following you for a while now and it's so sad seeing you upset but everything looks like it's on the up and I am so happy for you. Xxx

My son was in NICU for 9 weeks as he had to have surgery when he was born. I know what you are going through and I honestly feel for you. But now you have her home spend as much time with her as happy as you can, she's an amazing little girl you should be so proud :) xxx

I can't even begin to imagine what it's like for you all but you can't blame yourself it wasn't your fault you were born with it!! She's okay and that's down to you fighting in her corner.
Your SOO strong I don't know how you managed to get out of bed in the morning honestly, but it's because your an amazing mum to both your kids and did it for them x

I know this is really late but I totally understand you!! my son spend 6 weeks in the NICU also and I was away from my 3 year old daughter for those 6 weeks because we were life flighted to a different state. So I get how hard it was! I'm glad that I can relate in a way with someone.

Sending you all the love in the world Charlotte to you and your beautiful perfect family. Daisy and Bill are absolute beauties and that is all down to you! So don't ever ever beat yourself up but I know what you mean about feeling guilt. My mum had schizophrenia it was pretty mild when I was born. They always said I could inherit the gene. I've been fighting my whole life not to be labelled as a child with a mum with a mental illness. My childhood was pretty tough. It's something I don't have but certain people in my life unfortunately want to use that fact against me. As you know battling through those dark times is hard and it's something I never want for my boys. I just pray to god they can stay healthy and never experience the effects of an inheritable gene. xxx

You really are amazing Charlotte. Dasiy couldn't have chosen a better Mum, and she obviously chose the most caring and nuturing Mum. You should be so proud of all you've been through and how well you've all coped as a family. I can't even begin to understand what you're going through and I know as a Mum that Mum guilt is hard to overcome but you have nothing to feel guilty for. As you said, it was a mutated gene that caused you to develop the conditon so it could have happened to Daisy whether you had it or not. Instead because you had the same experience as a baby you have more understanding than anyone to help her get through it all. Take your time with everything and enjoy your little family. You deserve all the happiness in the world. xx

Watching in installments. Just hit pause on a great sentence after feeling very teary: "Would do it again in a heartbeat as nothing is worth more to me than my babies." All of your emotion comes through, through the camera and screen. I am so glad you are talking it out and feeling it. Suppressing it would not be good. Will watch the rest tomorrow. Hey lovely, Daisy is beautiful ! I had my twins last week, they came at 34 + 1. They are in scbu , and I spent all last week with them at the hospital quite a way from home. They're being transferred today to a closer hospital so I had my first night at home last night. we also have a older son, and I just needed to be at home in the evenings with him, the guilt of leaving the babies is horrendous and I don't want to keep crying all the time. They are doing well though and I know they'll be be home in a couple of weeks hopefully. It's so hard :( .....did you express breast milk when she was in at all? I need to get a pump for home but don't know which one to get without costing a fortune. Xx
