- Hallo, you lovely humans! This video was filmed a while ago as you can probably tell. I went for my very first LARP and RPG experience and it was amazing! I'm a little bit all over the place and definitely a little sick after it (it's physically draining) but so glad I went. I look forward to heading back when the world calms down a little.

Going alone, especially for the first time to a game. is daunting. I did that the first time, and I was shivering in my costume as the game started. I'm happy your first game left you so happy!
omg it can be so nerve racking! lol I totally relate to the shivering while all dressed up. I like to think we took a leap of faith.
@@Tominzay It does feel like a total Leap of Faith. I'm glad my LARP does a "New Player Quest" every time to help get the new players into the game. I cannot wait to hear how your experience evolves!
Ah! That's so cool! I go to a group called 'The Empire' in England! and its so fun! There's normally about 1.5k people that attend each time (more than 4 times a year) and it's just so enjoyable. My favorite part is (since I'm a healer) the drama of running in character into a battle scene and having someone put a shield up and bandaging people's wounds. I had one instance where I saw my friend on the floor and I ran out (she already has a healer) with my shield (thats about a metre in width) and saying "continue, ive got you. ill hold them off for as long as i can". Dude, larping is just so fun!

Young lady , I have been a fantasy scifi junkie since the early 80s. And I must say you make an incredible elf. Beautiful and you played her well. Good for you. And damn that looks like so much fun. And as I remember.. in the simmilieron at the end there are a few pages of basic elvish and how to inflect the accents for it.

I *think* I might be the Robin you are referring to? Wears a kilt and tosses on a bad mixed Scottish and Irish accent when not too tired. Also loves to 'complain' about A) the obelisk/faestone, B) the first Battle of Port Frey, and C) however current events relate to either of these things (also, sometimes, demons or why Cestral is simply *better*). It is awesome to see a new player perspective and its a bummer that games are currently on hold barring safety from the plague in such close quarter circumstances. Have you been making the online events? While they aren't quite the same, I've gotten several awesome plot hooks from them (though I think the Decimals might have adopted me in response).

The decimals got you 😂 they have been having some really interesting looking mods. I have gone for one of the events and the mod was so much fun! Not the same but still so good in a different way. Definitely excited to attend the next one

i was kinda iffy on larping cause i didn’t see any pocs which isn’t a bad thing but i didn’t know if there was something bad underlying but i guess that’s me being superstitious and you look awesome

Hello! I'm the Twin Mask Larper mentioned in the video who plays Scout! I have played the online mods that have happened and as much as they are fun, they do not compare to the real experience of live larping. We have active RP chats that are always open to players so we have something to do. The past ttrpg mods we have done have been exciting however! But I personally like the live action aspect more, which unfortunately we cannot get with online games and roleplay. There is a personal aspect of the in person games that you cannot get online, and I think it's something a lot of people miss. When you roleplay through the internet it kind of takes away what makes Larp...well Larp. I am grateful for what we have managed in the past and I am excited for future in person games... whenever that may be.

I know this may sound weird but where did you get those ears? I've searched and never was able to find latex ears for black skin.
Not weird at all! I too have struggled to find cheap options for ears in my skin tone. If you have a bit more money then I have heard really good things about Ardani ears. For mine, I bought them of Amazon and they came in white so I had to color them with paint, foundations and eyeshadow. Tbh it’s not a very permanent solution and my paint ended chipping off in some places but it worked in a pinch. I hope this is helpful!
