I found this video because I searched for just making something happen at a particular time of day and in some cases on certain days of the week. That's all.
At timestamp 26:35 in your video you popped in a flow that has an inject node set to everyday at 5pm. I really wished you would have clicked open the properties of that node to show us how you get it to do that. I'm sure there are other noobs like me that are looking for just a simple time of day/day of week trigger. Even if you just posted the jsons for the flows in your examples would help. good luck in future videos. thanks.

I liked the video and enjoyed seeing how you handled the various tasks. I fell exactly the same way about Bigtimer - it is dissying (sp?) and there is no telling what it will do when you fill in the fields they you think you should . . .
It would be nice if you had some links in your notes for the names and various controls you spoke about in the video. I watched the video on a roku tv which does not allow the user to see anything other than the video. When I came back the next day to reference what you had done, I had to watch the video again to get the names of the various controls.
    Good luck on future videos.

this has been helpfull, i am currently making a package system that can generate a pincode for the delivery guy to use and it has to be within two date times that the owner can decide themself. I'd love some tips from you cause im a real rookie at this. i think ill be able to use this to make one part of the project, thanks !

Just bumped into your video during a search and what I find interesting about the search is the fact your video did not turn up during my initial search.
Anyway, there are tons of videos claiming to be basic but the reference point is omitted. You see a basic video tutorial on the exact subject is left out.
So I started watching your video with the same glazed-over feeling I had with all the previous videos, but to my surprise, you came the closest I have seen so far at actually defining what things do well almost.
You see being a beginner means you don't know squat about the software and many videos just ignore that and start spewing terms without definitions. Look at my comments as a truck stop in a journey to actually find a BEGINNERS VIDEO ON NODE-RED as it is used with Home Assistant.
    PS
do you have the zoom feature?

I think using time range could clean this up a lot, you can use 'dusk' etc with it. Also, I don't quite understand the 'inject every 60 seconds in case you restart node-red'. If you restart node-red then that will also not work, plus it will be annoying to people wanting to turn the light on or off manually.

I'm a newbie to NodeRed and I had so much fun recreating your scenes on my installation, great video. Thanks so much. I have run into a problem though with schedex. It is saying "Invalid time [18.11]" even though I'm sure I have the same configs as you, and my template code looks like this "offtime {{{payload}}}" and my timestamp formatter output format looks like this "HH.mm" ...........any ideas?

29:29 : "Lots of ways to foreskin a cat." ummm, that's not the saying... think you need to google foreskin.

maybe you need to google "dick jokes".
