I remember watching this on Unsolved Mysteries. It always stuck with me. I remember when Colleen was still recovering in the hospital, they have her parents funeral so she wasn't able to attend. So sad. Hope you're doing well Harmin! Stay blessed! :)

Interesting but sad video. You really should do, or look into doing, a video on the Carrie Culberson Case in Blanchester, Ohio; this shocking story that unfolded split that village in half, and the police force was shut down for the corruption discovered in the case. While Carrie's body was never located, many locals still have hope to find her alive in hiding. This story hit so much media and runs the acrossed the entire pallet; it has suspense, corruption, abuse, hope, endurance, and love. I personally knew both Vincent Doan and Carrie Culberson. Also, I knew another guy, Michael Fogt (he lived around thirty miles from Blanchester, Ohio), and who was convicted in murdering his wife and possibly a couple of other missing people. I remember when they tore up the garage concrete and retrieved a drum with her body in it. Ironically, he was friends with Vincent, which I was not aware of when I met Michael in Hillsboro, Ohio.

That's because I normally do the narration separately, otherwise in videos past, if I do the narration while walking.. I would be out of breath and it's noticeable. So I try to do narration separately and then splice it in to my video portion. Not always that way but most times. Thank you michael!

Remember hearing this on the news. When it happened. Was shocking.
Spacious, quiet neighborhood has an open rural feel. Certainly belies the horror that happened at that little house within.
There should be some form of social studies classes in school that can help adolescent deal with relationship issues...cause I believe this is where it all starts....and maybe there might be less of these crimes....very sorry for all the victims.....glad at least the murderer was caught. I'm telling you, jealousy is a very dangerous thing when it comes to relationship issues. It can make a calm and nice person absolutely crazy and act out of the ordinary. Let alone a not-so-good person to begin with., like I suspect with this guy. I don't think we'll ever solve this crazy jealousy issue completely, cause it's human nature. Best thing is to be aware of these things and use caution.

One of the most terrifying UM episodes I watched as a kid! I always wondered how he managed to escape that long! But it was different back in the day I guess. Trying to make a few bucks at McDonald’s was his downfall

Harmin..if your still in Illinois, checkout the Small murder in kankakee/St.anne illinois area. The guy was kidnapped and buried alive. It happened in the 80s

The high school was Marian central catholic school. I was born in woodstock and lived there for 28 years. The photo you see for my profile was taken in woodstock as well. I used to play basketball in the park that is across the street from the house. It was crazy because it's a small town and is know for the movie ground hog day with Bill Murey. The whole movie is shot in woodstock except for the first couple of scenes. I lived a block away on pleasant st.

That was a bad day In 1988 i actually knew a friend who went to same school and I met Colleen. And I knew of the friends who were there that night. And that high school was completely blocked by squad cars front&back entrance parking lot.. it was in McHenry county.
Please.consider coming to Humboldt County Ca We.have a murdered.priest with a crucifix as one of the weapons, The Yosemite murder victims.were well known women from here, A suspected serial killer is a current issue and of course.Murder Mountain.( don't go.there) I guess Eureka is off the beaten path so rarely do people come here. Grimmelife came.here though

I’d like to hear his side of the story
Richard’s parents were getting a divorce & he had to move out of the house that he grew up in. All of this was happening at the same time Colleen broke up with him. He didn’t seek professional help when he should have or needed to either at college or at home. I read a comment somewhere (which I can’t confirm) that alluded to him attempting to join the military (the Marines?), but failing to qualify.
