@D Medina as for the videos it's china, Russia, usa or faulty equipment. It ain't aliens from outer space come to spy on us and then just leave only to return in some other fashion to do some other feat that breaks another scientific law and then leave. For As much "proof" as u require to believe your not a monkey or bird. U sure don't look at logic very much when it comes to aliens it seems. U do realize Jesus was an actual person that was actually here? And no there's not a shitty video or pic of him. But he did walk this planet. And there's testimony in other books written at that time talking about him and the things he did. It's what I'd call pretty solid evidence.

What I respect most in Joe Rogan is he questions everything. We should all consider facts b4 buying in.

The facts that the statement was “Christianity has no proof everything is mythology” is greatlyyyy uneducated. Even a simple movie such as the case for Christ shows these evidence. Many atheists scholars argue with many of the evidences for Christianity so to say they’re is not proof is a great amount of ignorance.

THE FIRST 5 BOOKS OF THE BIBLE WERE WRITTEN BY MOSES. The old testament was'nt written "1000 years later". Kings David and Solomon wrote (most) of Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastics, and Song of Solomon. These men were EYEWITNESSES to most of what they wrote.

The usual metrics. Statistically speaking, kids raised by a single father perform almost as well as kids from first marriage single families (where both mom and dad have not been married before and all children are full blood relations).
My father is an attorney who specializes in this stuff, he is the one who cites all these statistics, has reams of research on the subject.
It's funny because he used to believe the opposite, would typically insist that kids would do better if they stayed with the mother, but as families repeatedly would get nuked and 80% of divorces are filed by women, he started to really investigate it. The law was his second career, before that he was a scientific researcher.

I thought I was gonna hear a real argument against religion but no it’s not. I’ve heard heard some dumb arguments real arguments and this almost tops it. Sounds like a rant based off anger and no evidential research. Why does he get pissed when people on his show don’t back up what they say? Goes both ways especially on a topic like this.

The proof is there and it’s overwhelmingly obvious. People just disregard it because they want to be able to measure it in a laboratory and discount it when they actually can because of they’re bias background. The Eucharistic miracles and stigmata of padre Pio are examples of miracles being tested my atheistic scientist who later became catholic due to they’re findings. The evidence is within the Catholic Church. A few google searches isn’t enough but it’s a start.

If Joe Rogan really was intrested in finding the truth he would also interview Christian scholars on his own show.
One cannot come to an accurate and informed conclusion by studying the evidence on only 1 side of a debate.
The same scholars that accept that the bible was written decades after the events happend by anonymous authors that spoke a different language yet still think its reliable.

They would not concede their errors even if the prof for those errors jumped up an bit them on the ass. The authors of the new testament itself indicate that if you did not trust what they were saying you can go ask the eyewitness themselves most of them were still alive.
I have no doubt that traveling around on foot chasing down all of those eyewitnesses to get their stories and correlating them all into a cohesive text could have taken more than 10 years itself. It is no wonder that the final verifiable copies did not turn up for over 20 or 30 years after the events. Then there is also the fact that the romans and the Jews of the times were doing everything in their power to stop the advancement of the Christian movement driving most copies of those texts underground. Your narrative that because we can't trace any actual written text closer than 50 or so years after the events is not prof that it did not happen...

Also dating the texts werent the only way we determined their age we also used paleontology we looked at the material it was written on the languages and the way it was written this is called internal dating. Also its pretty convenient that the original texts are destroyed its almost like that makes it unverifiable and hint hint not evidence.

I have a lot respect for Joe Rogan for his commentary for MMA and his show is awesome but he is sometimes an outspoken critic but who isnt? Right?
The difference in outspoken critics, is there are really only two types, one that speaks from opinion/ truth relative to perspective and one that speaks from wisdom/ absolute truth.
One logical reason for believing in God is morality. Who says that it is wrong to kill or wrong to steal or why should we feed the poor? What is love? Is it just a random collection of chemicals that we adapted to have? Why is it wrong to kill a human but not a fly? Is it because humans are more intelligent so you shouldn’t harm them? What if someone is mentally disabled? Should we hurt them? Why do we have laws? Is it just so society works better and grows better like that or is it because deep down we have a conscience and know that it is absolutely wrong to kill people or to treat people wrong or to do everything only for you. As far as cheistianity and the Bible being true. There is a book called “the spectators guide to world religion” and it explains each major religion of the world and doesn’t bias leaning toward christianity. One thing about Christianity is that most religions is about you earning heaven or receiving eternal through your good deeds or as long as your good outweighs your bad, but true Christianity teaches that we could never be good enough by our own standards and that’s why Christ died for our sins and when we receive Christ we are changed inwardly and our status with God is in good standing. It’s not about just trying to be a good person but about giving your life to Christ and having a transforming moment that makes you desire to be good and love others. It doesn’t mean we will be perfect or good because no matter what we will always have sin or wrong doing but when you’re a Christian you feel bad about doing certain things and desire and strive to be who God wants you to be
Morality is simple, you see people die, you don't care. You care about people and maybe you see them die and it hurts. And then u realize how it hurts other people too. Or maybe you get hurt and almost die and it's traumatizing and seeing others go through that same pain reminds you of yours so u pity them. Morality is basically emotional intelligence.

@@aden861 when I was 6 years old my parents were fighting bad..so me and my mom went next door to the neighbors to spend the night...a old man was my neighbor he lived alone by the way...so me my mom and the neighbor are watching tv in the living room talking and stuff...next thing I remember is I wake up and I'm on the couch alone in the pitch ass dark in the living room alone...my mom left me to sleep .. she didnt pick me up and take me in the guest room with her 2 sleep..so I wake up and I'm thinking mom were are you.. so I get up off the couch and I start walking down a long narrow hallway in the pitch ass dark slowly...I'm whispering mom where are u...so I get halfway down the hallway when all of a sudden I stop in my tracks...I knew something was behind me..I could sense it.so I turn around slowly ..and right behind me 2 or 3 feet is a spirit being made out of light..we are face to face with eachother looking at eachother...I couldn't even move I was froze..I couldn't even scream...I'm in shock ...I was only 6 years old I didnt know what a ghost was I didnt know what I was looking at..this spirit was 1 spirit...it was so bright with a heavenly light not of this world..it didnt blind my eyes I could look right at it..the spirit was cloudy like..it was just standing there looking at me..after about 10 seconds I could see its hand signaling me slowly 2 come closer to it..finally I broke free from it..and I turned around and ran down the hallway screaming my ass off.. I was at the end of the hall in the dark terrified ..then I remember my mom cameout the guest room were I was crouched down screaming luckly...mom said be quiet u will wake the neighbor..then I looked down the hall and the spirit was gone...the older I got I realised I saw a real ghost...there really is another deminshion of existence of life ..a spirit world...I know because I got 2 see the truth...my whole life I've known that spirits are real...its impossible for me 2 be an atheist or 2 become an atheist after my ghost experience...so I figure if we came from monkeys then I wouldn't of seen a ghost being..I know personally that God is real...God is a spirit.. We are spirit beings having a human experience...when we die we will live on in the spirit...I know that for a fact..because I had a spirit come to me and show me that they are real...this is a true story I tell you...I wouldn't bullshit no 1...I wouldn't waste my time here....

I am someone who is fairly easily convinced, but no one will ever convince me that Jesus is not the Son of God, or that He is risen. My reason is that I know that those things are true. I don’t think they are true, I know they are. I’m not close-minded, I just love Jesus and I know Him to be who He says He is! It’s a simple as recognizing that your standing before God is, as with everyone else, unworthy. Then all that’s left to do is confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved! This means that you will live again even after you die but without death or suffering or pain of any kind. Jesus is extending His hand out to you, He loves you and wants you to take his invitation.

To correct my last comment, Jacob is not Heli. Jacob is Joseph’s biological father, and Heli is Joseph’s father-in-law. The word “son” was used interchangeably with “son-in-law” at the time. Also, “son” does not necessarily mean one generation. Jesus was called the son of David because he was a descendant of David, so Mary was a descendant of Heli, which explains the missing generations on either side. Originals were lost most likely if they were written down. Meaning no way to verify which is fake and inserted falsely like the mythologically inspired trinity concept that no one believed in before 250 Or something AD.

However, even though it's not the complete bible, the earliest NT manuscript p52 is dated around 125 AD, well before sinaiticus. And the statement that we have no idea what the originals say is not accurate at all. Even athiests scholars like Bart Ehrman wouldn't dare to go that far. We have almost 6000 NT manuscripts in the Greek alone, all with their own individual variants. If there was something missing or added, we would absolutely know through means of manuscript tradition.

What he would look like was foretold, everything was foretold what he would look like.

The difference between carnal knowledge and spiritual wisdom. However, why would an agnostic or an atheist know more about scriptures than aChristian? Because if there an atheist they're not going to be reading the Bible and they won't care about reading the Bible. You have carnal knowledge and you have spiritual biblical wisdom. The difference is, spiritual wisdom is what is attained after and only after you are born again and it's the knowledge and wisdom that the holy spirit gives you and gives you a greater understanding of what you are reading. Carnal knowledge is what man has that studies the scriptures that has not been born again. They have an intellectual knowledge about the scriptures.

The Gospels were written during Jesus's apostles lifetime. Saint Paul wrote much of the New Testament and he knew all the apostles. Joe Rogan needs to have a Biblical scholar on.

Everything is based on 'theory'. You believe something to be true. A theory based on a big bang that created the perfect balance of nature, the animals, the food chain and human beings with their unique DNA and soul. Everything seems to be perfectly connected. All of that out of a big bang. Or the other theory: An intelligent entity, who is not bound by 'time', and therefor has no beginning or an end, Who designed and crafted all of this. It's even written in the oldest history book ever written. Yet some rather believe in a big space fart that somehow lead to a monkey evolving into an intelligent human, while the rest of the apes we see today are still apes. That doesn't make sense to me.
