I like how cars like City can reach high speeds. The important lesson I learned from Toyota GR Academy is the cars in these segments having a 100hp+ engine is still powerful. Sure, it may not have the "strong acceleration" from stand still with only 0.1% throttle input, but if you go full throttle, these cars should still be capable of reaching speeds above 100km/h easily. When we drove a Toyota Vios at Clark speedway, I reached 160km/h, and my session partner reached 180km/h quite fast, so a Honda City should be capable of reaching similar speeds. While the Vios we drove is modified, its engine, brakes, suspension and transmission are bone stock. I wish you were there, RM. You would've enjoyed that lesson.
super helpful talaga nyang Honda Sensing. Di naman sa iresponsableng driver ano, pero malayo pa kase next stop namin sa NLEX eh, inabutan ako ng antok nun time na un, kase galing Baguio, and siste, from La Union nag swimming then bumalik ng Baguio para ihatid ang mga kamag anak, then rekta Manila na agad, di ko na anticipate ung pagod at antok kase usulally kayang kaya naman then ayun na nga, sa tinagal tagal kong nabyahe, bigla akong naka idlip sa manibela for the first time, kung walang sensing malamang sumalpok na kami sa Van na nasa harapan namin, thankfully naiabot pa naman sa last stop over sa Petron at dun nalang ako natulog kesa tumuloy pa.
Nag slowdown ba sya or engine brake? Nangyayari sakin to pag may biglang tatawid na motor or bata.
Thanks for sharing this video sir RM and Ms. Elaine, I've been watching your videos ever since, just curious po since you've mentioned driving the previous model of city sedan and S variant just recently, have you noticed any difference (on any road noise from 60-80km/h) from driving the previous models with Maxxis and Dunlop tires as compared to these Yokohama tires of the new City Hatchback? Thanks po and Godbless.
