      @@missfishbish4843 I'm not entirely sure why, but the "ASMR" tag really annoys me, lol. Maybe it's because UA-cam was once completely littered with the most ridiculous videos related to it. Plus, I read that the creator of the term chose the word "meridian" (the M in ASMR) because it's synonymous with "orgasmic". That explained all the softcore roleplay ASMR videos I was seeing at the time, so that gave me an even better excuse to shun it all. 😂😂

    • @missfishbish4843
      @missfishbish4843 3 роки тому

      @@nckhed lol I actually don't either because the word now has more ...devious...connotations. I think it should be studied more, because it's an interesting sensation. It's basically the same feeling as getting a head/scalp massage but somehow it can be triggered through sound. That's the best way I can describe it anyways.

    • @nckhed
      @nckhed 3 роки тому

      That's why there aren't a million subs. I mean that in a good way, though. Seems like when the sub count climbs, the quality of content declines. That's when all the constant uploads and click-bait titles start showing up. I don't mind some easygoing filler music here and there, a basic intro, etc., but I'll bet a lot of people would fall asleep to these videos. I kinda do sometimes, but it's because they're so relaxing, lol. A lot of people these days have unbelievably short attention spans, though, so they'd probably see the relaxing content as a bad thing. I mean, I've watched videos that are a minute or two long and people post timestamps to get to wherever the action is. 🤦‍♂️

My line was peeling like string cheese and a screech noise coming from my tip and then we checked my tip and guess what 2 chips in the eye this time. I was looking at the map and I didn’t realize that North Dakota was right near the border of Manitoba. It’s no wonder you’re catching so many big pike and Muskie and now bass. Manitoba has some of the biggest pike in Canada, particularly Knee Lake, which I used to see on fishing shows all the time. Where you are is sort of the same territory. I’ve always wanted to fish Lake of the Woods or St. Clair for Muskie. I’m from Southern Ontario, by Lake Ontario and there aren’t too many pike here, due to years of pollution. Great video as usual, I always look forward to it.

I know this purely by accident has I use 1/16th and 1/8th oz hair jigs with jig spinners for pan fish, but I also tend to catch a lot of 2 to 5 lb bass as a side effect. They don't seem to chase these smaller presentations any other time of year, just in the spring, pre-spawn and early post-spawn. Forage is smaller in the spring so it makes sense.

    Very nice bass at the beginning! You scored on the low winds!The husband and I ordered some Rat lures in for us and the kids! Trying them out at Nelson this weekend. Water level has gone up since last month.
