When I saw the two time Oscar winner of The Incredibles and Ratatouille take on Mission Impossible, I knew this would be the difference maker for this series. And it did not disappoint whatsoever. Bravo.

If Tom Cruise is in the movie, I watch it! The actor has never disappointed me! Thanks Tom! Additionally, the crew is first class, lighting, sound, editing, etc.... They make Tom and other actors look great! Movie magic!

Brad Bird is my favourite animation film director also he did his features first film so outstanding.
Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol is super fun action sequel. I missed good old movies like this.
Many people love Fallout but I prefer Ghost Protocol.

Choosing Brad Bird to direct one of the episodes, clearly shows how far Tom Cruise, Paramount et al are prepared to go in keeping this series going and Bird's specialty is animation.
That alone makes storyboards a lot more easier to use when filming scenes (especially action) prior to this was J J Abrams and he worked on TV : meaning the variety and scope for different directors are so wide, Mission Impossible could last as long as the 007 movies.
