Nailed it. Good to see some of the younger generation still have an appreciation for real music.

DUDE...... Pure love the way you done this, you've shown the world how much bass went into this track, and oh yeah you smashed playing it. Much love and respect to you sir from not so sunny Devon.

Really nice to see JJs part so clearly played like this so we can see the work, shows how much busier it is than it even sounds. Well done, you get the ebb/flow and mood spot on too. [Fan since 77/78 and the Rainbow/London days, and we're getting to see them one more time in March, bring it on... ]

Its like an aerobic workout on bass. Other level stuff. Remember that JJ cut his teeth on classical guitar. It then served him well on the four banger

Well done i have all the changes down and due to the speed on the main riff i do not go below 4th fret apart from on chorus,we play same notes in diff position when moving from A flat riff on to a string for d,ish chord upto c shsrp ,then to b,imay have a go using your changes ,❤great work and as i say using a plec is not as easy as it looks and using 3/4 time ,you my friend cracked it magnificently🎉

Great work. Here's a tip how I learned how to play this : you can drop the speed to 0.5 or 0.75 and build up your speed and accuracy that way. Bear in mind also that when they play this live it's actually a bit faster! J-J B is shamefully underrated both as a bass played, singer & as a songwriter!

Sounds OK, but it lacks variety. I would try more chromatic runs and more leading notes before certain chord changes.

Excellent! Proving you don't need a Fender Precision and a torn speaker cone to get "that" sound :)

I know right! I was worried attempting it but rickenbackers are surprisingly versatile :)

The torn speaker cone is a total myth, people will believe any old 💩🤣😂
