The skinny plastic electrode cover is easy to break so be careful, probably the fourth or fifth time I removed mine to blow it out the threaded end snapped off inside the electrode and I had to install a whole new electrode assembly. I think I was screwing it on too hard and sheared it off, now I turn the bigger electrode assembly and keep the plastic electrode cover stationary because it's easier to tell how hard you are turning the bigger piece.

On the carbon ring when you put it back on there's a little wire sticks out do you stick it through one of them holes or put the carbon ring up against that wire

the ring just slides up next to the electrode, flat side.

I am also using a Nordson Encore Let unit, do not have a Carbon ring on the unit, not sure it is supposed to have one??

@geezus0367 the carbon ring I believe is built into the nozzle
