Have you ever used stick and stitch patches for embroidery? What are your thoughts?

I've been dabbling with embroidery, hadn't heard of these patches. I imagine fabric choice makes a difference in the finished look. I've been using the frixion type pens and drawing my design onto the fabric. I'm tempted to give Readly a try, but I'm thinking it's another rabbit hole, lol 😂

It's lovely, I think for a second attempt it was great and you can wear it at Christmas with pride. As for french knots, there's a knack, it's about holding the right thread tight and sliding it down. I was lucky enough to be shown in person but I bet there's a good UA-cam tutorial somewhere
