Great episode as always. With the retaining wall and the path up hill, you could try upside down stairs to get a smoother diagonal line upward, or break it up into a few vertical lines by making stripped dark oak columns at each incline point to make it look like it is more supported. Just a couple of thoughts/ideas. (I had this thought before you built the house to cover most of the big wall.) Gotta love (or hate) villager mechanics, especially the linking to workstation mechanics. That is one reason I do the villagers one at a time usually. Looking forward to the next episode. ~Cam
Great job looks good. Glad Momma Slack is getting better. Lucky you having that trade pack to see all the trades. I don’t and decided to get all the tipped arrows. Wow that was a looooong process.
I have started making my villagers away from all the others. I will take them 50-100 blocks away from where my village or trading hall is and I roll them one at a time. I use minecarts to transport them or I make a little waterway to use a boat. I use a sticky piston to move the profession block instead of breaking it. It's so much more efficient. I still have headaches with them but not nearly as much as this. Watching this reminds me of why I do it this way. If I have access to the tipped arrows or potions I will also cure them at the same time, one and done.
Now before this. I will say. I have only been around like 10 or 12 people who have had knee replacements. (I live in AZ. Lots of those happen here haha). But my mother was one. And she didn't get up and move. Which was against doctors orders. They had her walking with a walker the next day. She stayed in bed for a long long time. And that caused issues. But different story lol. But I remember everyone hitting the ground running (phrase not literal). After the second or third day. And I have had a ton of knee surgeries. I think the iodine slowed you down a little. But do let her use it when she wants/can. There will be a lot of painful physical therapy. Hopefully it was just the iodine slow down. Only leaving this up a while. Then taking down.
No compression bandages, iodine allergy... Boy, you're going through all the troubles there! And boy do I understand the difficulty of getting access to good medical care in a rural area. At least your mom actually _wants_ to get up and be doing again, though; that makes all the difference in the world. My FiL put off his hip replacement a good 20, 30 years longer than he should have, and then didn't want to get up off his ass to do anything anymore, so instead of freely walking around all over the place now that the joint is pain-free, he's leaning heavily on a walker, and that as little as he can get away with.
She just had her second session of Physical Therapy just a few mins ago and she's doing great considering the mishaps that happened at the start of all this journey.
Yall should do a Kentucky meet-up sometime once everyone gets well. Being from the "Heart" of KY (IYKYK) I can be at any of the 3 Big Cities is less than 2 Hours. 🙏
I feel your disappointment on your Villagers 😂😂 there so ugh!! When I rerole their trades (Especially Librarians) i use Sticky Piston with a lever to easily do it with the exception to the weaponsmith.. idk why a piston can't push it, it only breaks the Grindstone..
Keep the episodes coming. I'm glad your mom is doing better, I hope the knee bending isn't too painful. A shot of whiskey never hurt anybody. 😂 just joking.
😂 bloody villager mechanics!!!
Glad to see momma Slack is on the mend, feel for you over that medical incompetence
Looking good Slack if the horse still does not have a name I would go for wait for it! HORSE 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Villager Mechanics can be... fun... sometimes for sure :)
Your villagers aim is just like yours, shoot for the stars and blow up the moon..
😂😂😂😂

Rolling villagers for specific trades does take a while but can be worth it and thanks momma slack is doing great
Nice! Weakness arrows are the way to go. Boating villagers over distance no more. Wishing your mum a speedy recovery.
Thank You
That farm may be simple and old school, but it works
Indeed

Yea considering any new villagers to be rolled further away for sure!
