@@housethesims4813It’s a very stylized game, there’s not many places it can go graphically at this point to be fair. And many games look like their predecessors, especially when not that much time has passed in between.
I would kill for a first-person free roam mode, where instead of just viewing the park through the eyes of a peep, you can actually spawn in as a free-roaming character you have complete control over, and you can roam your park creation at your leisure, cue up for rides naturally, and whatnot. Would be awesome :)
i was just thinking this earlier, it would killer to be able to invite people to your world and just have them spawn as guests that can free roam on paths and purchase items

Knowing Frontier, if it doesn't do well, they will abandon it, and you'll have to connect to their servers to prove you own the game even though no one can buy it anymore, because they are stupd and wouldn't release it for free. (Still salty about lemnis gate)
@@th3thrilld3m0n Atleast C:S II is day by day turning into more of a No Mans Sky story then a KSP2 disaster. The economy update made it ateast playable imo.
I was literally going to vaguecomment in here about how this announcement was doing material good for the low-key perpetual funk I am in over KSP2 but I guess now I will just come out and say that.
As a kid when I played RCT 3 I never owned the Soaked expansion. And now as adult I can play this knowing I can create my very own water park or a theme park containing both normal and water rides.
@@caseycb79 I always had this issue with the graphics where everything got turned into yellow dots after placing pools, even with a good processor and graphics card
Bro, you missed a lot, the soaked expansion was awesome. When I used to play as a kid the game was being sold as the Complete Edition, so I had all the dlcs.
Absolutely amazing! Looking so forward to this. Two things that will be essential for the sequel: 1. Actual dark ride mechanics. Way to make rooms dark w.o. changing the time (so outside still light) 2. Proper coaster smoothing. So the coaster pov is more realistic and doesn't require manually tuning each tiny section.
1. is already gone, atleast from this footage. If you look at the slide at 0:53, the interior is way too bright, so it still lacks the proper real time GI many fans have asked for.
I'm SHOCKED we get both Planet Aqua and Planet Coaster in one game! Now the real anticipation starts to see if ya'll have brought everything I need to the game and then some or just some things and anticipate for everything I need. Very Very Very excited!

Yes! Finally a Planet Coaster 2! I gave up the first game years ago. So many issues we pointed out at release at the Early Bird forum that eventually got fixed in Planet Zoo instead but not in Planet Coaster. Yes, I’ve played Planed Zoo instead by this reason. It is a more refined and complete experience. I’m so looking forward to come back to theme parks with a refined standard. 💙
Right I was so close to purchasing the first planet coaster so glad I didn’t and I cannot wait to build coaster again. I did like 10-15 years ago with the tycoon one. Oh how I miss it

4 or 5 years ago, due to some special reasons, I lost 400+ hours of game saves, and then I gave up on it. Today I saw a new beginning, it's time to start my big boss time again!!
I see in the blog post we will be able to walk around through our parks?! That is amazing, the reason I moved from RCT3 to Minecraft back in the day was mainly because I wanted to walk through my own parks and although there was a camera pov looking through the eyes of a guest, that was not the same as walking through it yourself. I am so happy you guys included this feature, can’t wait to build and enjoy new parks!
So... Planet Coaster 3 will be Zoo, Waterpark and Themepark combined to remember RCT3? I feel this would be an insane idea in the future to remember your lasting legacy. Please.
Planet Coaster 3 should have full VR integration. Imagine creating a theme park for your family, or disabled patients, and then they get to go there in VR. We need that.
they need to simplify the roller coaster physics because i’m not letting my family or disabled people ride my nauseating roller coaster. but seriously tho i must have 400+ hours or more but still can’t figure out how to make a fully functioning roller coaster with all green meter without copying what youtubers do

Let’s go a new planet coaster frontier. Please keep the wingcoaster in the game and in fact, combine the launch wing and the normal one into one coaster because you just need one coaster and also don’t forget you could add trackless dark rides
I’ve waited many years for a true successor to RCT3 with the ability to build a water park next to your other rides. I loved building pools and slides. I made one water park with three large pools on different levels and my guests could slide down from the top pool to the middle pool or take another slide which would take them directly to the bottom pool. Thanks Frontier for doing it again. I’ll buy PC2 on day one for my PS5.

Only thing I ask is that all the ride models available in Planet Coaster 1 are available in 2, and the biggest thing for me, if there is a way to transfer worlds from planet coaster 1 to planet coaster 2
Uhm, no, not really. That name is misleading. The official site says that you can only share your save game asynchronously via cross-platform so that someone else can load it and work on it. The game itself is unfortunately still a single-player game. :( If there was a real multiplayer, that would have been a reason for me to buy the game. But unfortunately I was disappointed with that statement.

You can already make "watercoasters" with all the effects close to Nolimits2 smoothness, + Gothic bath houses much better optimized than some 'influezaers' here . Now you can add Sims4 swimsuits with flowers.....and the Yoepietube creeewd goes WILD!! 😂😂😂
I hope they will add a feature, that coasters, other rides and waterslides automatically cut a hole in scenery, if wanted. not only round tunnels, you can also change the form, that it looks like rocks etc. and more props to tell stories in darkrides!
A lot of things I hope they fix Proper lighting through water at night this goes with the water fountains being invisible at night even with illumination (kinda needed now cas of the whole waterpark thing) Fix a stupid bug where triggered speakers overlap and cancel each other out when you have about 8 connected to the same circuit also add a volume meter Moving lights need better customization, can’t make a rly cool light show with the severe limitations, I mean it’s possible, but the amount of work for it to happen is crazy

As a kid when I played RCT 3 I never owned the Soaked expansion. And now as adult I can play this knowing I can create my very own water park or a theme park containing both normal and water rides.
The soaked expansion was/is still fun to play. You can still get it..... ;)

Absolutely amazing! Looking so forward to this. Two things that will be essential for the sequel:
1. Actual dark ride mechanics. Way to make rooms dark w.o. changing the time (so outside still light)
2. Proper coaster smoothing. So the coaster pov is more realistic and doesn't require manually tuning each tiny section.
1. is already gone, atleast from this footage. If you look at the slide at 0:53, the interior is way too bright, so it still lacks the proper real time GI many fans have asked for.

Yes! Finally a Planet Coaster 2!
I gave up the first game years ago. So many issues we pointed out at release at the Early Bird forum that eventually got fixed in Planet Zoo instead but not in Planet Coaster. Yes, I’ve played Planed Zoo instead by this reason. It is a more refined and complete experience. I’m so looking forward to come back to theme parks with a refined standard. 💙
Perhaps water parks and having NPCs in water swimming is a good test for, oh I don't know. AQUARIUMS!!

I see in the blog post we will be able to walk around through our parks?! That is amazing, the reason I moved from RCT3 to Minecraft back in the day was mainly because I wanted to walk through my own parks and although there was a camera pov looking through the eyes of a guest, that was not the same as walking through it yourself. I am so happy you guys included this feature, can’t wait to build and enjoy new parks!

Planet Coaster 3 should have full VR integration. Imagine creating a theme park for your family, or disabled patients, and then they get to go there in VR. We need that.

Let’s go a new planet coaster frontier. Please keep the wingcoaster in the game and in fact, combine the launch wing and the normal one into one coaster because you just need one coaster and also don’t forget you could add trackless dark rides
I’ve waited many years for a true successor to RCT3 with the ability to build a water park next to your other rides. I loved building pools and slides. I made one water park with three large pools on different levels and my guests could slide down from the top pool to the middle pool or take another slide which would take them directly to the bottom pool. Thanks Frontier for doing it again. I’ll buy PC2 on day one for my PS5.

Only thing I ask is that all the ride models available in Planet Coaster 1 are available in 2, and the biggest thing for me, if there is a way to transfer worlds from planet coaster 1 to planet coaster 2

Uhm, no, not really. That name is misleading. The official site says that you can only share your save game asynchronously via cross-platform so that someone else can load it and work on it. The game itself is unfortunately still a single-player game. :(
If there was a real multiplayer, that would have been a reason for me to buy the game. But unfortunately I was disappointed with that statement.
Frontier still making the best coaster games out there. I'm so stoked, but first, gotta save up for a better PC

You can already make "watercoasters" with all the effects close to Nolimits2 smoothness, + Gothic bath houses much better optimized than some 'influezaers' here . Now you can add Sims4 swimsuits with flowers.....and the Yoepietube creeewd goes WILD!! 😂😂😂

tbf planet coaster is pretty old at this point but its never been a demanding game
@@KKris-h The original definitely did get demanding as a park grew. They made optimizations for console but never back ported those to PC.
Dude just get an Xbox series x planet coaster is not that hard to run
@@Random_Eebs It’s hard to argue against the greatness of a Series X. But a gaming PC is still better if you have the money.
I hope they will add a feature, that coasters, other rides and waterslides automatically cut a hole in scenery, if wanted. not only round tunnels, you can also change the form, that it looks like rocks etc.
and more props to tell stories in darkrides!
A lot of things I hope they fix
Proper lighting through water at night this goes with the water fountains being invisible at night even with illumination (kinda needed now cas of the whole waterpark thing)
Fix a stupid bug where triggered speakers overlap and cancel each other out when you have about 8 connected to the same circuit also add a volume meter
Moving lights need better customization, can’t make a rly cool light show with the severe limitations, I mean it’s possible, but the amount of work for it to happen is crazy
